I love that the units are all default skins, I think it looks so much more cohesive

i really never enjoyed skins themed off of traits i like all the units looking unique
@@skere3925 Dragonlands was awful I couldn't tell units apart. I don't remember the traits but 2 of them were red and u couldn't tell which one was in which. having the same unit models but just different colours for the main dragons was just a mess as well. set 6 and 8 are perfect u can tell everyone a part even with the skins

I don't know wether the portals will be that problematic. They may warp the pace, but since everyone get's the same and the choice is made at the start of the game, it should be rather chill.
I am more scared of the legends.
@@Vodboi as i understood, you'll visit both maps. One of them seven times, one of them only one time (which may be the first). Maybe I got it wrong, though.
@@claasmachens3858 bingo. Legends will be hard to balance around. I think it will devolve all augments to either not matter quite as much in order to tune them down, or they will be always pick.
I love how they used Legends of Runeterra champs splash art as their icon in TFT
TRUE! That art is just spectacular and needs to be featured more often in their other LoL universe games

Legends seems like a great way to appease the people complaining about early augments, as well as letting casuals force stuff they want to try. Plus, knowing that the 3-2 and 4-2 options will be weaker than traditional augments will still reward players for traditional flex play. Excited to try it out!
I am wondering wether them being weaker will be enough to offsett the value of pre-knowledge about augment options and guaranteed synergistic augment options.
In adition I am slightly scared for the potential meta strengthening effect legends may have. For example if you have a reroll meta, the best legend choice may become lee sin to get augments like trade sector, but if 5+ players get offered trade sector at 2-1 in a reroll meta, that will cause even more reroll comps to be played.
You’re absolutely delusional if you think riot is competent enough to balance any of these systems.

It's good because instead of being a bullshit game with rng heavy wins or loses it removes plenty of the rng.
I was SO HAPPY when Kentwuhoo mentioned Chibi Lillia only for him to intantly say that it isn't real :( I really hope they make one for her!

It's nice to see QoL improvements. There is one thing I hoped you would've added. It would be great to see how beneficial traits were after a fight. For example, In this season, I would've loved to see how much ability power the team recieved from the heart trait and maybe which champion contributed the most. This is really important because I am usually puzzled if I was actually benefiting from the trait.
I think that is a cool idea, i think problems would be (though not impossible barriers) are traits such as (gain AD on attack) would you want damage, or how many times they attacked or both? One unit might attack more, but be stuck against a tank with brambles.
And if you want that displayed for each unit, the UI has to be reasonable (i.e don't fill the entire screen with stats) and not require to much computational power to have this feature for all traits/augments (for accessibility reasons, it should not be a requirement to have a high end computer. If they make these stats an option in the menu to have or not- then there is an advantage to those with better computers)
That's a hole statistic thing, I don't see the devs doing it but I can see they will enable open api or some shit where a 3rd party site can track and tell you like for League. We have sites we do this stuff great already but indeed, showing what trait did most damge would be nice

@@Ano1990x idk all the augments that go for gold seem overpowered af. Now you can get them all the time which seems questionable (at least consistant though), while some legends are completely useless.

Legends are a very cool mechanic. It's just enough to tweak a play style but not dictate what units to buy. The UI/UX improvements are also super awesome!
Thats so good. Inspecting champions on carousel. I remember what pain in the butt it always is guessing what spatulas are on champions

Something like Clash but with TFT would also be amazing ! You take a ticket, join a bracket with players around your level and compet for first place during a whole evening, with 3, 4 or 5 matches against thoses players. Rewarded with skins and emotes. Would be very nice

I miss trait augments so much, they were the best part about the game for me. Playing a trait and then suddenly getting their augment gave so much dopamine, just seeing the effect go through in battle and your team you built suddenly getting a massive upgrade was such a rush

I weirdly love the Quality of Life the most. It helps so much with some of my friends that rarely play TFT.
Traits are so easy to learn this set, things just make sense even if you know zero lore like me.
These Champion Legends are a great addition.

Legends seem cool, but i'm a bit afraid it's gonna enable forcing comps too much

It seems less comp and more play style specific. But I still am scared of lobies with 5+ players picking lee sin during a reroll meta.
Legends seem so geared towards people forcing comps, and not about playing what you get. Still, need to try it first, can't wait 😊
I am somewhat scared as well, though I am not convinced it will ofer you to force comps. It seems more like it offers to force playstyles. It is still scary (in my opinion) but less about the comp and more about 5+ players that are guaranteed to get trade sector in a reroll meta.
Why is tft so good? Hope league also has something like this in the future

The ability to "inspect" units on the carousel should have been a feature from Set 1. It's absence and also item combines not being visible are a major reason I kept playing Underlords until it died rather than playing TFT from the start.

Seems like Set 1 and I'm here for it, I love it oooooh the nostalgia. TFT you guys are amazing; from the "old" new comp set, to the new Legend system and the PORO LITTLE LEGENDS OH MY GODDDDDDD SO CUTE. TFT is amazing. If you hate TFT sorry not sorry but you have no taste.

I love everything about TFT and its only gotten better over the last few sets. I play more TFT than league now. I only have one real gripe with TFT and thats the Mythic Gambling loot system. Having to spend over $100 to get a mythic chibi or arena is insane and its even more insane that people will pay it.
I hope they will offer alternative ways to get mythics in the future because its far too expensive for most of us with bills. Give us a random Mythic for getting plat would even incentivize more play.
i spent $25 and luckily hit a lee sin. i wouldnt pay anymore than that tho. To be fair its a free game so it feels justified to some degree but I agree that there should be some alternate ways to get these
That's just how it is. Cosmetics are a luxury and tft is a free game.

they are mythic for a reason, and riot needs to make money. just buy them if you want to support the devs. theyre purely cosmetic
