The reason I bought a samsung s20plus was because ei make videos and my iphone 11 was annoying, it sucked with videos. I do not regret upgrading, and of course I misspell but I'll keep that in here because judging grammar is stupid unless it's on a documentary

I think the iPhone took better low light photos/video in most cases. The "Costco" sign was overblown with the Note 20 Ultra. Also the portrait level photos are slightly better overall with the iPhone . Note 20 Ultra excels in daytime shots and tele-photo. With all the control and versatility (S-Pen, split screen, etc. for example) of the Note 20 Ultra, I think the Note 20 Ultra offers more value.
iPhone won coz itβs more of natural than Samsung more of saturated images ,youβd better go for natural beauty than artificial beauty weigh them

But with pro mode even the astrophotography is miles ahead what you can do in the Note, or other phones in general

I'm wondering what is the screen mode on the Note20 Ultra that you were comparing? I don't believe that the screen resolution of Note20 Ultra was poor like this. Please turn on all opps functions of Samaung phone such as high resolution, scense optimiser, front and rear camera resolution: UHD and so on. I believe that you will see the details of its powerful performance.

Note 20 ultra in a different league, for those macros and lowlight you guys should try 108mp using telephoto, will blow your mind, the iPhone tends to run wild with the color and tint too much, and i also notice more detail and better exposure overall in the note, I know videographers and the apple fanpack will disagree but results are all over KRplus at this point, the iPhone wins with its Dolby hdr and night portraits until the note gets an update

Instead of biasing on one phone, I'm just going by my analysis. The Samsung was brighter in most cases which I do prefer in the day photos for example where the bushes etc are. Sometimes the iPhone was overly contrasty. The iPhone was great at exposing the direct sun. The Samsung stability was pretty much as good as the iPhone but on the iPhone, the colours were acting weird and created a warpy effect and kept flashing 3:15 unlike the very stable Samsung. Night shots, Iphone and Samsung was great at exposing the light and dark areas. As for video, Iphone was less grainy at night and more stable, as shown in the Costco sign. Overall, it kept jumping back and forth so really depends on your requirements and preferences. Have a great day :)

Pictures are just pictures; easily edited to your likings.

@@xmanallrounder i had iphone 12 pro i used it for a week and sold it. Tbh i had been using samsung for like ages. And moving to iOS really effected my day to day life. I missed samsung health, notes, themes ( even tho i dont use it a lot ) and many other samsung/ google services. The first thing i noticed while using iphone 12 pro is that you dont really get satisfaction that hey i am having a device worth 1k. Since the egdes of iphone are back to 4 design with a bigger screen its not that comfortable to hold it. So, i had to use case.
About note :
After setting up my note i really found a lot of change mainly in screen . Note has way much better screen and about 120hz display it really makes a lot of difference. The 60hz in iPhone seems ok but as soon as you compare it to 120hz it will feel laggy and slow.

My note 20 ultra will be delivered on the 14th I am so excited it's the first phone I've gotten new in a while... usually I'll just buy a refurbished generation or two behind.. now I'm getting the brand new Kick-Ass note 20 ultra. Tough to tell who won over all. In some conditions where Apple excelled Samsung fell short and vise versa. Both very nice though!
Both are great phones, but the IPhone did way better, the video at night on the note had so much noise and dynamic range on the iPhone is better and the ultra wide was really distorted on the note 20z
iphone is slightly better at low light video and less grainy, iphone is slightly better at dynamic range, but samsung beats iphone in pictures and night mode. Iphone takes better portraits but both do really good.
Bluish cast is killing the natural tinge on iPhone, otherwise it has little bit better macro and wide angles, while samsung has better telephoto.

Note 20 Ultra has a far superior mic. Audio is really nice. Both videos look really nice though.
Microphone of both phones are likely same but colour difference is pretty good in iphone than ultra.
