The stuff sets up like hardened (soft set) glue. It's basically impossible for the repair shop to remove. If you insert it in, say, your riding mower tire, the mechanic will probably charge you for a new tire and/or tube and sometimes even a new rim because the stuff is nearly impossible to clean off the existing rim.

The Slime tire sealant is a great product but be careful to buy the correct Slime for your car/truck type. The sealant is not friendly with the TPMS in the tire. Buy the correct sealant.

The tire slime is a common commercially available product, however one should keep in mind that it stays fluid the entire time and isn't actually meant as a REAL tire patch. When you inevitably need to go into a tire center to get a repair done or a rotation if you wait too long, it is VERY important you inform the people doing the work that you put tire slime in your tires. Because you definitely don't want a pissed off mechanic with easy access to everything in your car. Which you will have if you don't tell them and they take the tire off only to get slime everywhere in their shop, all over their tools, and splattering on their cloths.

A subscription for $20-$25 a month when a normal liscense plate is around that price per year. Itd be worth it to just sell the fancy plate to people and then let them pay the DMV once a year like normal.
