    I don't know if these highlights are AI generated or if there is an actual editor involved. Either way, I felt like they missed a lot of Medvedev's points during the reel. Seemed a little biased to only show Jarry winning all the points when clearly Meddy was holding his own, and won. Don't disrespect the Octopus like that now, c'mon!

    • @jay_kulina
      @jay_kulina 개월 전 +7

      Yeah, because you can't beat Sinner playing pure, fast power tennis. You need to be able to mix it up against Sinner, change the rhythm often. Not going strike for strike with your topspin bh or fh. Unfortunately for the Czech, his game and rhythm resemble that of Sinner's a lot. And Jannik is just better at it than him(or anyone for that matter). Only chance he had is if he caught Sinner on a bad day. Which didn't happen!

      @@jay_kulinaGood observation. I was thinking similar too....for pure baseline rallies, there aren't many who can outlast Sinner. I saw Machac barely outlast Murray in the last game but I didn't see enough in his game to cause an upset against Sinner.

      @@valentinwidmann76 there’s a lot of beauty in playing defensive tennis as well. Gotta appreciate different styles and plays. Plus, it doesn’t always work like that since a lot of opponents just don’t miss and Daniil has to approach those type of matches with a different game plan. Thats what makes him a great player, his versatility and adaptability. He’d realized Jarry is really prone to making errors, so he just capitalised on that, why would he change the tactics that work pretty well against a certain player?

    after changing the net rules to accomodate for what hurkacz was doing, there should also be a new rule introduced to restrict moaning to the moment of striking. these moans waaaay after the strike, ranging into the concentration phase of the opponent, strangely often happening during big points... that is NOT ok!

    Jerry lost that match, too nervous , too many unforced errors . He has all the tools to take down Medvedev .

    • @LeviMatteo
      @LeviMatteo 29 일 전

      Inducing unforced errors in the opponent is Medvedev's specialty. It's simply his way of playing and the weapon with which he has remained in the top 5 of the ATP circuit for years. You as a spectator have the impression that the opponent is playing badly and making too many mistakes, in reality it is Medvedev who is directing the game and playing his cards as best as he can. For many it remains a difficult enigma to understand, but it is an enigma that works perfectly

    Can someone please tell me. At the end of the game, when players walk to the net for the handshake.
    Why do they drive their hands through their sweaty hair and shake their nasty sweaty hands right after.
    Is this supposed to be wild or what do I miss? 😂

    • @saschanv
      @saschanv 개월 전 +3

      It's not that common but indeed Jarry's sweat swipe was rather brazen 😅

    • @gablan1468
      @gablan1468 개월 전 +10

      They try to fix their hair because of the cap they wore (like Khachanov often does), so their hair won't look as messy before the cameras. I would assume it's just a bad habit.
      The opponent's hands are not that much cleaner either, so let's just say they don't care about it too.

    So here's a question: at 7:44 the ball kid catches the ball mid-air before it hits the wall or bounces again (it wouldn't, I know). How is that allowed but in the same scenario if you touch the net you lose the point?

    I guess Jarry/Medvedev was a more exciting match. I must say I had to double check the final score, as from the highlights it looked like Jarry won. You know I love you, Tennis TV, but this isn't fair
