Puppy tips:
1. They sleep majority of the day and when they wake up that is usually when they need to go potty. Take him straight to his pee pad and let him go potty.
(A little gross tip is to keep his pee on the pad for a little so he smells it and knows to go back there and pee on the pad.)
2. They love to play a lot but will forget to go potty so you might have some accidents, just remember the first tip lol and just check in by saying “do you need to go potty” potty trying is hard but if he was potty trained before getting him it should be easier.
3. Don’t walk him too much because you can overwork the baby. Try short walks and when he gets older increase to longer walks. Playing with toys and running back and forth in the house will be the best exercise!
4. Start with commands at early ages so using his name a lot, sit, down, etc. he will catch on. (You can use his puppy food as treats to train him)
5. I’m assuming he has his shots but by around 16 weeks or so he should have all his shots and be in the clear of parvo. (Make sure your shoes from outside are kept outside or put up away from him)
6. You can leave his food out for him because puppies eat a lot the first couple months because they are growing. Once he gets older you can provide him with an eating schedule!
These are tips I have followed with all my puppies. I have had 4 so far. You don’t have to take the tips but I know you guys were asking in the previous video!! Enjoy the beautiful baby, he is so cute!
