He owes it to his GRANDMOTHER who was the main person in his life growing up. The biggest tragedy of the BTS story is that V's grandma died while they were on tour in the Philippines and he didn't get to go to her funeral. She did get to see their popularity rise but never got to see them be #1 in the world. But she sure as hell did a great job of raising and encouraging V's ambitions and look where he is now. But yes, Shweta, I do think of that every time I hear him sing that line in the song. His mom and dad, who are also wonderful people, had a hand in creating the most handsome guy in the world. Tae thought he would be a poor farmer his entire life. Now he lives in a $4 million condo and made sure his parents were included in his success. His accidental audition changed his life forever.

I was so upset when I found out that BTS started to win ARMY’s heart since 8yrs and I found it late. But now I am so happy to have them in my lives.
I'm new to being a fan of BTS and I gotta say it was my 4 year old son who introduced us to BTS. It was his fascination with the song Dynamite that made us curious to know more about this group. Now we enjoy bonding over their songs and kept being amazed by the group's stories of how they began and everything else that followed. Thank you for making this video! It made us admire them even more!

I have been an ARMY for 4 years now. Yet i clicked on this video , just to cry looking at how hard our boys worked and how steadily they walked together till today. Every time they moved ahead and it was always one step at a time. I still regret not being an ARMY from 2013 . But all this also makes me believe that existence BTS and ARMY was destined by the universe .

That was in June this year ..and since then i became an ARMY for BTS and i have really tried to watch all the videos to get to know them and i couldn't believe I had missed out soooo much. I play there songs when am down and my spirit just relaxes....

One more thing….after watching this again with my youngest daughter, ( almost 18), I am struck by the fact that this upbeat version delivered an almost complete, like 99.99999%complete story. What makes BTS phenomenal is that they have=e achieved all of this WITHOUT compromising themselves. It is no secret that Big Hit took a ZERO TOLERANCE policy after many extremely dangerous and difficult situations ( plagiarism accusations, cultural appropriation rumors[being labeled as trying to be African American with dress, hair, and hip hop themes], and…most serious, the Death Threats that targeted RM/ JHope/ & Jimin). These young men have ALL had to deal with society mocking their success. American audiences as well, creating content that slammed BTS’ appearance, use of cosmetics, and eye/hair color. When, in reality, all that was happening was Global Stardom. BTS/ARMY propelled them into the universe….every aspect was covered ( Music/Video/Internet/Television/Merch/BT21/BU etc). Watching them on RUN or In The Soop, getting treated to specialty concerts via Weverse or catching their Speak Yourself UN address. These young men aren’t merely Kpop; no, BTS is a way of being, loving, acting, living, and hoping…they are role models for any sex, race, color, creed, religion out there. Proud ARMY momma here. I purple ALL of them!

I am also an ARMY but I believe that each Kpop groups paved their own way. Like how the other Kpop groups topping the chart. Topping the chart because of BTS?
