he's such an interesting person it's like whatever he does somehow fits to my idea of his character... he might sometimes come off as blunt as he said since he often jokes around but he takes good care of the members (especially the younger ones) and they always mention that he's considerate and kind.. he was always there comfronting the members when they were crying but he never cried himself. even in rtk when they got 1st place, he said "let's not cry here" I think he's someone with certain goals and brings a good balance to the team

to casual fans and new deobis, hyunjae might seem like the loud guy of tbz, always laugh and play around but hyunjae is actually one of the most level-headed member. He is shy with strangers or people outside of his circle (during tbz early debut days, it was amusing to see him being loud with tbz but so quiet in reality shows haha), and you can see that he takes care of the maknaes so well and are close to them. he's also serious whenever it comes to performing and it's unfair that he's good at everything lol ❤️ he was in the main dancer unit in THE 100 with changmin + juyeon, a super duper good performer and singer & he's SO GOOD at games even when he doesn't look competitive about it haha. he reminds me a lot of Baekhyun (which is his idol) who is young at heart, and playful but always serious and strive for the best in whatever that he does. i'm not even a hyunjae stan (if you're a the b you will agree that we don't even have a bias anymore after some time, we just love them equally). but i genuinely love and appreciate your existence lee hyunjae ❤️

I feel him! But actually before being like I am (really frank) I wasn't honest because I didn't want to hurt people. But one day I lost all my 'friends' because I said what I was really thinking. But now I have the right friends and they didn't unfriend me even when the truth hurt them sometimes. I feel the same about injustice too, I hate it and it's so frustrating to see it happen.. As someone who lived it it's probably one of the worse thing someone can live. I never thought I could relate to THE BOYZ that much!

Hyunjae having a hard time expressing himself because he doesn't want people to misunderstood him. I think he often got misunderstood so it kinda pains him a lot.:( Thats's why he's quite shy and quiet when he is with strangers. Being honest and transparent, not many people can do that especially being a celebrity. Celebrities tend to fabricate their personalities to appear charming to the fans but Hyunjae, on the other hand, prefers showing his true-self, expressing his feelings, keeping it real and honest. He likes to joke around and lighten up the mood so that people would feel comfortable and happy but some people can't understand his intention and deduce him to being annoying. The good and kind side of him is often buried by his loud and outgoing personalities. He said he loves listening to ballad songs and there's one time, at night, he cries while listening to iu's "when love passes by". It means that he also can be sensitive and soft-hearted at times. The members always praised him as someone reliable, caring, a good hyung who loves taking care of others especially maknaes line, someone they could share their worries and problems. Sangyeon also said that as the leader when there are difficult problems that he can't handle alone, he would share and discuss it with Hyunjae. He is not just loud, he is talented, compassionate, good-looking, has a beautiful voice and good at dancing too. I hope people can see these amazing sides of him and appreciate him more.

i always found hyunjae's personality admirable. i have the personality that can't say the things that i have in my mind, meanwhile he's like the opposite of me so i found it very admirable.

Based on this, Hyunjae and Changmin have contrasting personalities. Whereas, Changmin tend to keep to himself, Hyunjae likes being frank and outspoken. And it's wonderful to see how well they still work as a team.

not to sound "self-proclaimed" but i think i could relate to hyunjae the most.. i love how he is outspoken and tries not to sugarcoat his personality. a lot of my friends and close people i interact with seem to describe me being frank and blunt which i totally understand because that's what my personality really is, i can't hold back what i say all the time so i speak up even if it costs me because it really becomes 'toxic', as hyunjae said in his identity film.
i want to thank hyunjae and the rest of the boyz for not only speaking up and being honest abt themselves but to also thank them that through this film, it creates a connection between fans and idols deeply and i acknowledge them for that. i only started stanning them last year late 2019 during tattoo era and stanning them has been the best decision i've ever made.

tbh im a newer tbz fan, started getting into them like end of march and i did initially find hyunjae a bit rude and too blunt but he's grown on me a lot and i get him more now, it's actually refreshing to see someone in this industry who doesn't mind being honest and straight to the point and doesn't regret it.
