This group was the only one to capture the essense of dance. 1million's looked lovely but all i could focus on was their formations and ripples rather than dancing. Theirs was an artpiece while Jam Republic has a performance, and i think thats the biggest advantage the global stage brings

인원수의 아쉬운 부분을 댄싱으로 꽉 채웠네요. 음악의 요소를 표현하는 잼 리퍼블릭 멤버들의 역량만큼은 의심하지 않아도 될듯.
커스틴이 인스타에 댄서 구한다고 올렸다던데 ㅠㅠ ..로얄패밀리가 해외투어중 이었어서 댄서구하기가 쉽지 않았나봐요 ㅠ 그럼에도 저인원으로 최고의 작품 만들어준 잼리퍼블릭 너무 대단해요
오히려 다행이네요 로열 패밀리 왔으면 너무 급이 달라졌을듯 ㅋㅋㅋ
타지에서 진짜 우리나라 댄서들이야 어느정도 인원충당하기에 쉬웠겠지만 ㅜㅜ 기본적으로 어느정도 커리어 있는분들은 말씀하신것처럼 로열은 해외투어중인것처럼 다둘 각자 스케쥴도 있을테고 또 비행기티켓부터, 숙박에, 먹는거등등 더해결해야하는데 그걸 .... 구하는 커스틴이 해야하느냐 엠넷이 하느냔대 이건 프로그램측에서 해줬겠죠 🤦🏻 암만 따지고 봐도 좀 많이 ,,,불리한 게임이었지않나. 그럼에도 말씀처럼 최선의, 최고의 무대를 만들어줘서 고맙고 대단하죠😍🫶🏻

사람들이 그냥 해외가면 똑같이 사람 구하면 되지 않냐라는 멍청한 말을 하는데…
1. 자신의 홈그라운드가 아닌 (타국가서) 미국가서 미국 댄스 경연 프로그램 찍는데, 그게 쉬울지 상상해 보시길
2. 일단 촬영때매 한국에 있는데 해외에 있는 댄서들 모집을 온라인으로만 하던가 커뮤니케이션이 쉽지 않음
3. 한국에서의 스우파 인지도 (네임벨류)가 있지만 뉴질랜드 댄서들에게 (현지인) 스우파는 네임벨류가 없기에 섭외도 쉽지않음
(예를들어) 우리가 미국이던 독일이던 해외 유명 프로그램을 잘 모르듯이
4. 제한된 예산은 있을꺼고 그걸 제작진과 조율 해가면서 고려해야함. 다만 해외 댄스크루는 댄서일 뿐이지만 장소섭외/댄서 모집/ 예산 / 의상 / 소품 등 하는게 쉽지 않음 다만 이걸 해내야함. 제작진 역시 한국인들이기네 한국에서의 인맥이 있어서 도와주기 쉽지만 뉴질랜드에서의 파워는 없기에 사실상
커스틴이 주도 하던 제작진과 계속 커뮤니케이션 하면서 진행해야함 (이것부터 대가리 아픔) 울고 싶고 포기하고 싶기도함.
(특히나 해외는 인건비가 엄청 비싸서 우리나라의 몇배라고 보면 됨. 그리고 우리나라 처럼 주먹구구 식으로 공짜로 도와줘~~ 이런거 없고, 시간단위 계산, 쉬는시간, 식대 철저함)
(개인적으로 해외 유학 및 해외 대학교 교환학생까지 거치면서 홈그라운드가 아닌 해외에서의 힘듦을 몸소 느낌. 물리적인 공간이 떨어져 있는게 정말 쉽지 않음. 특히나 내 홈그라운드가 아니기에 도움 요청하는게 정말 어려움. 정보/인맥/소통 등 쉽지않음)
그니까요 ㅠ 다들 이번미션은 별로 불공정하지 않다는데 걍... 기가참...

이 영상 보구 아프로 장르 진짜 멋있다 배워보고싶다 느꼈어요. 다른 팀들은 영상미와 칼각, 구성으로 승부한다면 여긴 진짜 댄싱 그 자체로 승부하는 느낌? 동작들이 제일 기억에 남아요.

what i like the most about jam republic's performance is that watching them made me want to get on my feet and dance myself. they were the only ones who made me feel like dancing WITH them instead of just feeling like i'm a spectator watching a great performance.

I watched Jam Republic’s first and then the other groups. I felt underwhelmed watching everyone else’s performances even though they were really good too. When I came back to watching Jamree’s, it was like watching it all over again as if I’d never seen it before. I felt their fire and passion and it made me want to dance and shout and have fun!! Their energy is something special. ❤

no way,, Jam Republic definitely did great but 1 million and mannequeen did hella well too
1million and mannequin were definitely really really great. they were fantastic to watch. but i agree with @irabunnie , only jam republic made me feel like i want to dance myself and have fun. for 1million and mannequin, it felt like i was only a spectator watching an awesome performance, if that makes sense.
This Performance proves how talented they are and has gotten a lot more Respect now that everyone knows everything JamR had to overcome 😢❤.

보면서 소름돋음 진짜 ㅠㅠㅠㅠ 걍 완벽 그자체,, 특히 엠마 표정이 진짜 소름돋게 좋음
전체 시간동안 지루한 부분이 하나도 없고 모든 부분이 계속 눈이 감... 그리고 외국의 이런영상들볼때마다 이런 생동감이 섹시한 의상에서 나오는줄알았는데 잼리퍼블릭 보고 옷이 아니라 춤의 느낌이었구나를 깨달음

with probably less dancers than the other group, they really did so well with the concept and choreography wise. and all members really do have their own shine moments, and i just love that

다 보고 왔는데 처음부터 끝까지 춤으로만 다 구성해서 너무 좋았고 또 여러 장르를 각각의 특성을 살려서 집중도 있고 힙하게 만든 것도 좋았음.
그리고 다른 팀들은 안타깝게도 홀리뱅과 저스트절크가 만들어 놓은 틀에 너무 맞추려고 하는 것 같아 보여 대형이나 그룹퍼포먼스가 너무 겹치는 부분이 많고 심지어 어떤 팀은 그룹 퍼포먼스에 너무 집중해서 춤이 안보이는 팀도 있음.
잼 리퍼블릭만 유일하게 그 틀을 따르지 않고 자신들만의 스타일로 만든게 너무 좋았음.
더 높이 사는 부분은 장르가 바뀌어도 그 장르를 주도하는 메인만 달라질 뿐 멤버 전원이 다 함께 추는 점 그리고 다른 팀보다 훨씬 적은 메가크루 인원인데 인원이 적다는 느낌이 안듬.

u know it's a great performance when you watch it the first 10 times not knowing that they had to overcome a ton of obstacles to finish it. you can't tell bc they're just that good
let’s continue to stream & support JR 💗💅. They all truly shined and showed us stunning and different performance !! Yes, dancers were not that many but they all surely slayed 💙 in their own ways and talents 💅. All loves to JR 🫶🏻.
What many people don't know is that African traditional dances and afrobeats dance are so hard to perform it takes alot of energy and leg movements so to see latrice and the rest of jam republic makes me so happy for them to pay homage to latrice and Kristen's roots❤❤

진짜 개 멋있는게 대중들이 미쳐있는 칼각,압박형 퍼포먼스가 아니라 댄서로서 예술작품을 내기 위해 뮤지컬리티 지향형 퍼포먼스를 기획했다는거임.... 진짜 개씹 고퀄리티고, 몇 대중분들을 이해못하실 수 있지만, 아예 베이직자체가 다른 퍼포먼스임. 이런 퍼포먼스가 제일 극도로 난이도 높은데, 찢어놓은게 ㄹㅇ 미쳤다...
왜 저 퍼포먼스가 더 어렵다는건지 자세히 설명해주실분 계신가여?
춤알못이라 저는 그냥 스토리와 리듬으로만 춤을 추는거라 어렵다는 뜻으로밖에 이해를 못하겠음
@마하나의 그림을 만드는건 까놓고보면 그림을 위해 움직이기에 개개인의 역량이 돋보이는 퍼포로 보긴 힘들지만 (춤보단 똑똑함이 더 돋보이는)이렇게 댄싱자체가 중심이 되고 그 자체로 보여주려면 개개인 역량이 너무 중요해지고 그림을 짜내는 능력뿐만 아니라 화려한 구성보다도 ”춤실력“이 뒷받침 되어야하는 퍼포라 아무래도 앵간한 댄싱으론 절대 저정도 퀄리티가 안나와서 어려워요
포인트가 너무 많음. 하나하나 말씀드릴게요.
첫번째, 코레오 뿐만 아니라 퍼포 영상 하나에댄스홀,크럼프,힙합,아프로,그리고 뉴질랜드크루답게 마오리족 전통 춤을 넣은 것까지 볼거리가 많아요. 그래서 춤을 오랫동안 좋아한 제 입장에서는 눈이 너무 즐겁고 다양해서 좋았어요.
둘째,뮤직컬리티. 음악을 너무 잘 이해하고 분위기에 따라 다른 그루브를 내는게 정말 어려운거에요. 오늘 울플러 안무교환에서 원밀이 힘들어하시는거 보셨죠. 그거와 차원이 다르게 특히나 힙합처럼 정통 크럼프,아프로댄스홀은 그루브가 진짜 중요하고 댄스판에서는 동장퀄리티 하나로 몇년을 퀄리티만 하고 살아왔는지 세월이 느껴져요. 그 정도로 하이퀄리티 무빙이었어요 정말.
세번째, 액팅과 스토리. 춤은 노래를 표현하고 감정을 전달하는 것이기에 누군가에게 이야기하듯 기승전결이 중요해요. 커스틴의 도입부, 엠마의 크럼프파트를 통한 긴장감 고조, 라트리스의 인상깊은 시작과 마무리 끝맺음까지 전개상 완벽하다고 해도 무방하죠.
네번째, 적거나 거의 변화없이 짜여진 구성에서 몰입시킬 수 있는 힘. 라트리스 파트를 제외하고는 대부분 구성에 큰 변화없이 흘러가요. 구성이 관객들의 집중을 놓치지 않게 하기 위해 변화와 다양성이 필요하다면 잼은 노래 자체에 대한 해석으로 오히려 중심댄서의 댄스와 액팅에 몰입하게 해 큰 구성 변화없이 해냈죠. 이게 보통 댓글에서 외국인들이 틀을 깨버리고 신선하다라는 댓글을 다는 이유인거죠.
@노땡스와 이렇게 해석을 들으니까 뮤지컬식 스토리 구성에 많은 댄스 장르를 꾸겨 넣으면서도 어색하지 않게 구성하고 잘 추면서 노래 자체가 돋보이는게 참 대단하다는 생각이 드네요.. 외국 바이브라 오 색다르다 멋지다라는 생각이 들다가 흠...? 뭔가 심심한 것 같기도 한데? 라는 느낌이 들었는데 해석을 들으니 말이 안되는 무대였네요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
even though dance is not Korean style, I still strongly believe that JAMREE ate and slayed 💗. No hate to other crews, i just think that JAMREE is superb ‼️ despite them having less dancers and other things, you can’t tell me our girls still did their best 🫶🏻. All loves JAMREE, always here.
So instead of saying negative things, just think of the positive things and let’s stream and keep supporting ❤

Rumors says they filmed it in New zealand thats why it was all non-korean dancers. But the number of dancers maybe it got conflicted to the payments to the dancers or maybe personal choice to only picked few dancers but also powerful individuals.
Was filmed in New Zealand because there was trouble flying people into Korea due to such short notice etc. so they flew to New Zealand. Loads of hurdles is what I keep reading on their posts and JR founder.
It’s a hard task for an international crew to pull off as their mega crews ain’t in Korea.

Jam Republic has impeccable synchronization, they manage to mix different rhythms and make the choreography even more incredible, every time I see their performance I want to dance xD, I'm very happy to see people bringing Afro dancing and krumping to Korean variety shows. Jam Republic is simply incredible no matter what they say, people have to leave this cultural prejudice aside, because it doesn't matter if you are from Japan, Korea or America, what matters is never stop loving dance and taking it around the world , all dance rhythms started in suburban streets, party rooms and even bars, but what matters is taking the dance culture of your country to others..... and that's what Jam Republic does. So please let's appreciate their work because they are amazing!!
The crumping was hardly crumping imo. The moves were so minimized that it made it seem like half-hearted/untrained people were dancing- they might as well have done other things bc crumping is whole body and all they really did was move their arms.
@Titi Lectric Everyone has a perspective on crumping, but I think everyone forgets that crumping is not just about fast and strong movements, but when you put your emotions into dancing, following the beat of the music and the lyrics, and of course not all dancers were able to do it. But Emma does, in all her battles where she dances a little bit of crumping, she is simply incredible.
@Lauanny ….there is really no “perspective” you’re either crumping well or you’re not, and this looks like when koreans try to imitate hip-hop- just comes off as very stiff and unnatural. Og tho that considering the Asian audience they really wouldn’t know the difference btwn good and bad crumping bc they dont seem to know it when they dance in any style that isn’t k-pop.
I was smiling from start to finish while watching this. The adrenaline this performance gave me is superb. Tho the feedback of the audience is important for a performance, I think it is good to note that I can feel that the performers are enjoying this as well. Such an eye candy!
