Cincinnati Zoo Breaks Ground on Largest Publicly Accessible Urban Solar Array in the U.S.

- Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden broke ground earlier this month on a 2.8 MW Melink Solar solar array that will provide shade for cars and buses in its Euclid Ave parking lot while generating power for the Zoo and its neighbors! The Zoo has enjoyed many days “off the grid” since it installed a 1.56 MW solar array over its main parking lot in 2011. This additional array, which will steal the title of largest publicly accessible urban solar array in the country from the Vine St. array, will move the Zoo closer to its goal to be Net Zero by 2025.

Maybe in years to come The Cincinnati zoo , Would build a Cincinnati zoo hotel, for all the People that travel from many part's of the world, For an extended stay ,A zoo vacation,A beautiful place to visit 🎉🏙️😀
That would be wonderful. Unfortunately, the Cincinnati Zoo is neighbors with several hospitals, and they will likely take priority for such projects.
Actually, the Graduate Hotel, which is literally less than 2 blocks away, has partnered with the Zoo. They offer Fiona themed rooms and deals.
Cincinnati Zoo has greater needs than having their own hotel, besides as invested as the Zoo is in this community I don't believe they would take business away from their neighbors.
