Unbelievable Scarbo. Best and most outstanding I've ever heard. Shocking. His whole recital is fantastic. Such a great pianist. He's going to absolutely STUN with his concerto performance.

Dmytro was one of my favorite pianists of the competition. Especially loved his Debussy and Ginastera. I studied classical piano and always performed both of these works. Choni has shown such amazing versatility and his joy for the music really shines through. His Prokofiev 3rd was so magical. Bravissimo

gorgeous Scriabin, reminds me of the 1957 performance of Gilels. Ethereal Debussy.

Choni's program showed real breadth. Those Brahms Rhapsodies are real little gems.

Kandohl plays like someone is after him. He sacrifices terracing and accuracy to wild speed. Impressive. Choni’s playing pleases me more. He leaves me time to swallow and inhale. Distler complained about Choni’s facial antics but while more than I like in a player’s demeanor, he never looked awful Kandohl looked like he was having a root canal. His coach should counsel him to smooth this out.

Kandohi plays with all his open heart. I know all pieces he played and rest assured , could not hear wrong notes or any mess.
Nothing is sacrificed. Immense intensity, yes.
      Probably not for faint hearted.
      Fabulous performance!
