Hey, Roy! Wow!! Awesome piece! But the best part was your impersonation of Dr. King. I forgot I was looking at you. i was seeing Dr. King at that moment,, feeling the sorrow of losing this great man. Before every MLK Day, I introduce him to my Kindergarten class, telling them he was one of the three greatest Americans in history. There's George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Dr. King. I took a vote, and all the children voted to have a picture of Dr. King on a $20 bill. That's what I believe. Anyway, I play a video of the end of the "I Have a Dream." speech. The excerpt I show them is over 5 minutes long. That's a LONG time for 5-6 year olds to sit through! Not with Dr. King! They were totally quiet, each one captivated, watching this grainy, black and white footage of this magnificent man. I stand in the back of the room, because every time I see it, I start to cry. His glorious speech about freedom that ends with his cry, "Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we're free at last! always brings me to my feet."

As for the gun rights guy at the end? The statement he made was wrong on SO many levels. Not just because MLK was shot with a gun. But also, many West Africans were originally sold to the slave traders in exchange for (you guessed it) guns. Look it up.

Yes, I faced alot of racism getting a job because of skin color. No it was not just racist words towards me, I feared after school, becuase there was always someone wanting to kick my ass just because i was asian. I got into many fights, some I won some i lost. That's how i made those friends because i stood up. I understand what black men go through, yes it doesn't compare to what asians went through in this country, you are right. Tell me what have asians done to black? Did we enslave blacks? I have never voted in my life nor donated to a presidental candidate, but I did for Obama. he got me exicited and thought he could unify this country. This racist divide is because the media has brainwashed us to hate each other. "How do you conquer a country, you divide them and make them dumb", thats how they control us. Just to fight Climate Change means we need homes retrofitted to be energy efficient, trees planted and cared for to soak up carbon plus they cool cities, solar arrays to build, etc. The government should run all these projects so we don’t see the greed, lack of worker safety and hiring people under the table that too many businesses indulge in.
