OMG, we watched this weekend. I said to my husband several times, “Joe Exotic is a poor Trump!”

I watched Tiger King and am blown away by the weirdness allowed in the US under the guise of "freedom".
Mugdorna LOL, no, most of the show was flat out illegal. Like pretty much alllll of it. I wouldn’t even bet money that the tattoos were done by licensed businesses, the rest of the stuff was so hinky. You know how they kept side-mentioning things that were done illegally (like Carole’s first husband who never flew his plane with a license so he just always stayed below radar)? Just assume *everything* was like that unless someone explicitly said it was legal. And I don’t remember anyone looking into the camera at any point and saying, for example, “Now, this giant pit of fire is properly permitted by the local fire chief.” 😂

@@bilpayne Current law is permitting, which then leads to oversight of conditions. The ownership was the most legal part! But it devolved into an issue of animal cruelty. I was talking about all the rest of the stuff. Like, I just don't want someone thinking that the behavior in that movie is "all good in the US." So much of it is illegal, not just the animal ownership.

I think people are also watching for the drama between “that man” (if he can call the Governor of Michigan “that woman” I will now call him “that man”) and the press. I love that they are trying to hold him accountable to his words but what if they just stopped asking an questions at all? He LOVES the drama and even turns a softball question into a “nasty question” just to create drama. I’d love it if the reporters all just sat there silently. He would not know wha to do.

Great comment, I agree. I also think an intelligent person can learn to manipulate an already self centered system of press vs public figure and get better at it over time. Reporters are trying to ask questions to reveal what we've already known about someone for the last several years which is a waste of time. This process is also consistent with what was used to recruit supporters of "that man's" campaign in his first term using some sort of reverse psychology.
Reporters should get together and come up with one question that needs to be answered for the sake of the people and stop trying to be the one reporter with the million dollar question or trying to get him to admit to failure. Reporters should then ask that same question over and over again in different variations when its their turn and watch how he reveals himself even to his supporters the way he should. This will never happen though.
He's initially saying the right thing and has consistently said it from the beginning. We should not panic. Panic will just result in more fatalities. However you don't wheel someone who has just been shot into an ER, tell them to be calm then offer them a couple of bucks for a new shirt and a cup of coffee. The person who has just been shot will think "Hey it must not be that serious and I get to buy a new shirt."

I wouldn't do that considering he is the one presenting policy. Before a president-elect officially begins the position, the tone and direction of their first term is set by the crucial process of making appointments. These appointments would be based on who was most accomplished in their expertise, and who would be the best to help improve the country in their respectful positions.
