People seem so easily hyped up by conspiracy theories, are scared easily and way more easily brought to extremism in whatever way. I always thought we were a down-to-earth people. I hope that will save us the embarrassment of what could happen like in the US.

About 5 years ago, when Obama was still in office, my family and I took a trip to America. That was my first time going to America, and i was like " man.. this is a really nice place, I can see why it's so popular " . But now, when i see America im like "DAMMMN... Yes it does, l rather live in South Africa right now. I was stuck in Bali for three months, my country South Africa sent a repatriation flight to collect all it citizens in Bali. My American friend was stuck there with me at the same time, USA did absolutely nothing in helping their people in getting home, six months later and she’s still stuck in Bali 🙈

I think it sucks because there are people like me who need to go out of the country for medical concerns. I need to get my teeth fixed, but I can't afford to do it in America. So I'm basically waiting until we can travel internationally again before I can go to Mexico or Costa Rica to get dental care. Of course, that begs all kinds of questions about why I can't afford to get dental care in my own fucking country.

Yup, just bought myself a Ram 2500 and towed a 33' trailer with zero experience. A little intimidating at first but you get the hang of it. Have to be really really really careful turning and backing up.

I wear a thick scarf since masks are too expensive to properly use (without reusing masks that last 1 hour) and cloth from old clothes doest work since I am WEARING those old clothes. But at least most of the people I see are trying. Then there are those idiots who have the means to cover their face, but instead, walk around with no worry for anybody and let their kids cough all over the place instead of teaching them to cough in the armpit (at least!).

I had to fly to go to a funeral last month. The airports made multiple announcements saying you have to wear a mask and if you refuse you will be added to the no fly list. They had people walking around enforcing it. They did not play around and I appreciated it.

Maybe she paid for them. Most airlines will allow extra carry-on bag as far as you pay for them. And now that the planes are not full capacity anyway, there is no risk of running out of overhead luggage space.
I am a American I so ashamed of how we are handling this Covid 19 I can truly understand why others around the world don’t want us in there space
So, *deep breath* I started going to a gym. I have not worn my mask there. I have seen one man wearing one. Me and this man are there for totally different reasons but I still feel like an ass. Trying the mask my next time in just to see how I can handle breathing impairment. No, I am not being chocked (" I can't breath" comes to mind.) And the times we live in is why we all should get stronger. I don't get out much as my lifestyle but being in a gym makes me see how i can be more aware of others.
You can at least where a plastic shield with maybe a lightweight cloth if not a mask. The heavy exhaling can easily disperse breath/droplets and the circulating air is the problem because covid just stays suspended for a period of time in enclosed spaces. You probably already knew that.

FYI for those traveling, Marriott has contactless check-in available at most of their hotels if u are part of their free rewards program. you can check-in on the phone app. Some have where they can send the keys to your phone, some you have to show ID and pickup keys ready at the desk. They are not doing cleaning services if u stay more than 1 night so no one enters while u are checked in

I LOVE my Roadtrek campervaan! I drive it instead of a regular car or suv. I am so glad i never have to use a public restroom ever again. Wash my hands whenever i want. Keep my groceries cold on the way home from the market. Superior breakroom to the one at work. I can't understand why anyone would want a regular 4-wheeeler when you can have one that sleeps 2 and cooks a meal ;)

I really loved this segment. It's relieving to know that so many countries have banned travel from the US, thus prioritizing their citizens lives over the economy. That's how it should always be done.
Furthermore, I appreciate that Trevor mentioned how difficult traveling can be for people who don’t come from major developed countries. It's an issue I don't believe many are aware of, specially Americans, so it's nice that Trevor is bringing it up.

Confession: last winter I made a wish that we could just ban Americans from travelling to my country because of a series of infuriating incidents. It is much nicer to commute by train now, though. No more people talking at night club volume at 6am in an otherwise silent train.
Serious question. As a brown American, I am curious about this. I know Americans get a bad rap with the stereotype of us being loud, wearing sneakers, and being generally obnoxious, etc. As a non-white American are we viewed as the same? I plan to travel abroad in the future and understand that most countries have this view of us. I have friends who say their Mexican/and or Salvadoran when they travel (they are multi lingual) even though they were born in the US for that reason.

I was so pressed to get my passport renewed last year because I was going to fly to Europe this March.
At least I still have all these Euros I can't spend!
I was due to go to Morocco from France in March. Lucky I was going to change money there. I think there may be a chance to go in spring 2022, or with luck and good vaccination, next autumn.

I worked at Thousand Trails this summer and there was 300 sites packed on 4th of July with campers and their guests, there were a least a thousand people in the park! Only four restrooms cleaned once a day. The pool was packed. Talk about a hot spot.
Man is kind of satisfying to see americans being banned from flying everywhere after all my bad experiences with the TSA while being a foreigner.
As an expat who has had to go through so much shit and wait forever to get my visa to my current country of residence, I almost had a seizure while watching those people destroy those US Passports. Mine is the most valuable thing I own.
