I have massive panic attacks cause I get Cloister phobia really easily. However, I still wear a mask. I have bought so many masks and found a couple that have help me through it. And when I gave a panic attack I just stop and breath and do my own thing. But I REFUSE to take a chance and I think of others.

I lived in Hong Kong during the 04 sars outbreak and the infection rates fell sharply after the population all started wearing masks. My state is a seatbelts required, but motorcycle helmets are not. I guess it makes a little sense? Seatbelts keep the driver behind the steering wheel, and people in the back seat from hitting the driver. Motorcyclists who choose not to wear a helmet are only endangering their own brains from spilling on the road.

@MorbidManMusic No -- Costco needs to give him hazard pay, as does every other retailer fpr every other employee who has had to work in these circs. Kroger actually stopped with hazard pay -- fuck them. Costco used to have a reputation as a good employer; not sure whether they still are.

Would have loved to have seen other customers applaud that Costco worker after he took the cart away. Unfortunately I think this is going to be a big issue when businesses start opening back up and employees are required to enforce the mask rule. I hope to see more open solidarity amongst the citizens when the time comes.

The primary reason for wearing a mask is because we all have a tendency to sometimes spit a little when we speak. If you’re wearing a mask you can “say it without spraying it” 😷 While you’re taking a drink, you’re not talking.

There are a lot of factors in using a mask. If you have to open it you have to touch your face with germs from surfaces, and then you pick up germs from your mask and transfer them to the surfaces you touch afterward, etc. I'm not saying it is or isn't better than working around a normal mask but I am saying that the reason scientists do studies is because you can't reason your way through every eventuality involved in issues like this. It needs to be tested

Bella Wu it’s really not the same, because the *amount* of viral load is critical. If you’re only exposed for 20 seconds, you’re unlikely to get the virus, and if you do, it’s likely to be a lighter case.

I fully agree with "the customer is always right" but there is a fine line between a customer and a criminal and being that most states have a mask in public policy right now, refusing to wear a mask is makes you a criminal. Even failing to abide by a company policy can get the cops called and a trespass order served to you, so keep pushing your not a customer anymore don't be surprised if you are treated like a criminal.

Their criminal behaviour doesn't stop at "I wear no mask"...there have been several cases now, where employees have been shot, simply because they refused to serve these "no mask" criminals. That tells you quite a lot about the state of mind that such guys live in...always on the edge of committing an armed crime, all they need is a (stupid) reason.

I drive without a headlight all the time, and I can see everyone just fine. So obviously, headlights are unnessecary. Plus, police stopping me all the time is oppression! Police state! COMMUNISM!

Exactly. technically counties are making their own rules about wearing masks in public and you could technically be fined for not wearing one. So depending on where he lives.. he could have already broken the law. We live in a country with free speech but it's not a free country. Otherwise we would have people committing murders because "we live in a free country".
When the mask wearing first started, our grocery stores wouldnt even let anyone in the door if they were'nt wearing a mask. I saw one elderly lady who was yelling at the door man for "disrespecting a elderly woman", when all he asked was her to wear a mask for her own health and safety

Exactly, it's a religious practice, and to demand that I wear one is religious discrimination. As only a plague from the Abrahamic faith is capable of a seemingly invisible/supernatural killing spree. It's equivalent to forcing me to apply blood to my door so an invisible entity that I do not believe/follow doesn't kill my kids but the Egyptian's kids. That or it's forcing me to adhere to Asian mysticism which I also do not follow, since I do not believe that a face garb bestows 20 different invisible values. I espouse to most other religions that hold that a sick person is having a fight with bad spirits as is my right, and not to mention it's more scientifically accurate. As the only verified "evidence" for viruses are "anti-bodies" which coincidentally look a lot like Exosomes, detox enzymes that were "discovered" thirty years ago. The only "real" photos of viruses are admitted to be just pictures of normal cells that supposedly house viruses. See the German Doctor Stephan Lanka who asked for proof of viruses in return for 100,000 dollars and no one provided it. A sick person is just having a seasonal tissue detox, tissue that holds too much toxins now detoxifying, and triggered by seasonal change, see Dr Aajonus Vonderplanitz.
