About the Grover Cleveland story: In the 1800's, cancer was considered a punishment for sinful people. Hiding cancer was standard, and we don't have accurate morbidity/mortality info because death certificates would say "natural causes" to protect the family's reputation. I'm so hoping and praying that our young generation that is coming up will help change things. My daughter is studying political science and policy law in college because she's exceptionally passionate about the policies and has managed to debate these issues since high school. I Sincerely hope that they will make the changes necessary for them and their future families.

We have to keep social pressure on the COPS and Court Systems demanding that they deal 'fairly' with EVERYONE and let them know we are STILL WATCHING how they do things, etc...

Trevor, you made this so clear and understandable. So, it confirms what I said they should do to get rid of the lie of not having the ability to debate... Maximum: 100 x 10 mins., Minimum: 50 x 10 mins which will leave at the most 2 8 hour days to debate a bill. Why? In a school board meeting in ATL, citizens get 3 mins & elected state officials get 5 mins. So, feds get 10 mins (2x that of state) to speak during the public comments. Move on & vote.

Ridiculous! New Filibuster ammendment: No outside drinks or refreshments. No one can provide the person filibustering with anything to ingest. No bathroom breaks, and a filibuster passport is required which tracks the limited number of filibustering events allowed per Senator.
