- Liverpool moved into the Fourth Round of the Emirates FA Cup after beating a young but resilient Aston Villa side. Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Georginio Wijnaldum scored for the Reds, whilst Louie Barry scored Aston Villa's equaliser in the first half.

@@jamesmurray4370 yes i know but usually any game with crowds is always a little exciting especially when a bunch of 18 year olds are playing the champions, the commentators could’ve helped a bit by putting a bit of enthusiasm in it, but yes this game was not supposed to be a great thriller.

@@tttkk4874 He hasn't agreed yet with the new contract that Liverpool has offered him.
He wants the same wages as salah or mane, so they letting him go
If he doesn't want to stay there's nothing the club can do. We as a club shouldn't be letting contracts run down especially with all the money the club is losing with covid. If he has made it clear he doesn't want to stay we should be selling him in January at least get something for him instead of letting him go for free. In all fairness he doesn't deserve the same wages as salah or thiago. He gets the odd goal here or there. Its not as if he is world class. We have hendo ox thiago milner kieta when fit and fabinho when not in defence. He is not irreplaceable.
We have enough midfielders especially Thiago hendo fabinho then shaqiri but u gaurantee gini will sign on the dotted line

Great experience and there could even be a chance of an upset. Let's put things into perspective, they are doing what they want to do and there was no shame in losing.
@@Kevinacharles No actually, academy players are supposed to be playing against the U23s and U18s, not the current champions of England. Aston Villa had the option to forfeit this match but they decided to field 7 U23 players and 4 U18s, this was very brave of the youngsters. That whole squad has never played a single first team match in their lives, yes they loved the opportunity but it was still very brave to go from playing against Luton Town U23s to all of a sudden breaking past the Liverpool defence that no team could break past last year. Very daring!

Non-league teams face premier League teams all the time and they're also heralded as brave for doing what they love and it's a massive opportunity to prove themselves. Imagine if they hadn't played and how that could impact on their careers.
