And i'm pretty sure if they know what the video is about they won't even watch it to begin with because they know bad memories will come from watching it. And even then, disliking a video because it brings up personal problems to your mind is... not exactly good.
It's not their fault that it happened, and they are trying to do some good for people. I personally believd it would be better to like it instead of dislike it, since they are trying to avoid cancer to happen to people more often, or well, help treat people who have it, which i think it would be exactly what these people who have had experiences with it want. Less people to have to go through the nightmare of cancer

To dislike it makes it seem like you don't like the mission they were working towards, that you don't really care if they cancel cancer. I would say they were horrible people, but they could maybe do to think a little bit more.

Thank you so much for doing this. One of my family members is going to have surgery at St. Jude at the end of this month, and I can't stress just how impactful everyone's donations are. I had the opportunity to raise $10,000 with our own community for St. Jude PLAY LIVE in May, and seeing other creators like yourself go out and raise millions of dollars for charity is truly inspiring. More creators now than ever are fundraising money for charitable causes and streams like this showcase what is possible through gaming platforms today. Even as I type this comment, I see more donations coming in for this specific campaign.
It costs $2.8 Million to run St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for one day. Times that by 365 days in a year, and you realize just how incredible of an operation it is when no family has to ever pay a bill for treatment, travel, housing, food, etc. Each and every single donation truly makes a difference at St. Jude, and I just want to thank MatPat, Stephanie, and everyone else who took part in this stream. It really makes me happy when people use platforms like Twitch, Facebook, and KRplus to make a difference.
Alright, I haven't commented on anything yet, because all of them have already had people commenting, but I felt the need to add a comment to just tell you that I hope your family member's surgery goes well, and that it is people like Mat, Mark, Steph, and you that make people like me have hope that things will get better, so we can help organizations like St. Jude's.
I had a grandfather who had died from a type of cancer called Agent Orange, which was something spread in the Vietnam War. I know that today, he would look at this livestream with great pride that there were so many people working together to help these children who need help in order to stay alive.

Not only is this going towards such a meaningful cause, but also a great reminder of the impact that these youtube personalities and communities can do to bring people together to contribute to these great causes.
Also, this was such a fantastic line-up of guests. Got introduced to KRplusrs like Jake and Kyle from Vsauce3 and BecauseScience, and will definitely be checking their channels out. The Try Guys were great as always and it was also great to see TheOdd1sOut and SomethingelseYT come on and have fun as well. Also, the FNAF team coming in full force to take on Scott's challenge, and Scott coming through to donate even when the "score" wasn't met.
I truly, truly hope this becomes an annual event because I and everyone else will be HERE to support it every step if the way.

Matpat, I just want to thank you personally for this. I live in Memphis and my sister suffered through cancer three times so I am very familiar with St Jude. I was in and out of airplanes all day yesterday (ironically going home from my sister’s make a wish trip to Moorea) so I saw what I could of the stream and it made my day. I know things like make a wish are supposed to be a happy thing but all throughout the trip people would mention it and it would just get me down with memories of my sister in the hospital. When I found out you were streaming, I was ecstatic. This was one of the many times you had brought me up. You, Matpat, have helped me through so much. My mental health, my gender dysphoria, depression, anxiety, my sister in the hospital, you name it. You were there. You were always there. No matter what, I could always count on you to help. Even if you never said it exactly, every time I sat down and watched one of your videos, it was like you were there with me to say, “it’s gonna be ok. You can do it. You are enough. You are loved.” I just want you to know that you truly are my hero matpat. I love you so much.

Oof. Seeing this livestream again after being in the hospital myself not even a week ago hits real different. I’ve got a lot more feels than ever before seeing the video package and it’s just weird how many times I’ve watched this before going into the hospital and how I feel now. The hospital was completely unexpected, completely by surprise, and scared everybody. Still waiting on the results from all that but man this hits so more deeply than ever!

Last year, during the mental health charity stream I commented something about how I was so grateful for people like Matt and Steph. Over a year later, Matthew and Stephanie have been some of the best people this world has ever had the honor of having and how they've used what they have and they continue to help others leaves me speechless everytime. From the days I've felt alone and hopeless to kids in hospitals watching their favorite KRplusr raising 1.2 MILLION dollars for what they're going through, the internet thanks you. I'm so grateful for Matt, Steph, and the rest of the team. They've changed my life and so many others,

it wasn't just one day though. The ability to donate started days ago, but the entire process is absolutely crazy. The stream today started at 510K, but that doesn't take away from anything.
