In my previous FNAF episode that dived into the new Fazbear Frights book series, I said I was going to come back to one of the characters for a closer look. Today is that day! I am taking a hard look at the boy in the time traveling ball pit, Oswald. You see, I think we may have found the person making these FNAF games. Scott actually confirmed that he had to roll with some older, popular theories when the lore started to take off due to the disappointment if the weren't true! I heard it in some old inter view about 2 years ago that I can't find anymore.
I know all of this is just a theory, but Glitchtrap is my new sleep paralysis demon. No joke, these videos are giving me nightmares. I still want to watch all of them, though.

plot twist: Scott IS Oswald, just under a different name and story. He actually did travel back in time and the game series is both his way of coping with the traumatic experience as well as being hired in some way to destroy a restaurant series.

Honestly, this theory is perfect and makes sense of the hard reboot of the lore that Scott seemed to be going for. It doesn’t invalidate the “game timeline” and it also makes its own timeline that leads into SB and the other future games.
I think not. I say this theory has the same problem with the dream theory; Scott puts parallels into his games, doesn't mean one of the two similarities is the source of the other one. Gabriella is indeed similar to Gabriel and Scott didn't put it as a coincidence, sure, but we can't say for sure that Gabriella is the source of Gabriel. Similar to the crying child seeing a boy with a balloon on his hand in a minigame. Yes, that boy is similar to the Balloon Boy, but that doesn't mean he is the source of a Balloon Boy hallucination. There's either a physical link between the two or Scott's artistic preference is putting parallels in his creations.
Ya know, ive loved the franchise for a while now, I've been watching matpat and others break everything down and investigate and search for answers for years, often times details changing (recently like tbe fnaf 4 house being "henry Emily's" house, and all the implications that go with that, as well as mike/michael, crying child, books, etc.) But it gets to a point where... I just wanna know the damn answer. Its been so much fun but I've grown frustrated with this constant stringing along, seemingly contradictory information and cryptic clues and almost no definitive answers, etc. Etc. Il probably always continue to watch, especially because those Fazbear Frights books have gotten really really incredible and creepy as hell actually, but it is getting frustrating. Honestly id almost rather them reboot from scratch while continuing some of the current story lines and clues and concepts and ideas. Either way i almost wish it ended conclusively but carried on as a sort of sequel series with new mysteries and not so tied down byvold confusing lore. Just me tho still love it and will continue to watch
