I also find it interesting targeting the lonely children with no friends, making the body swap “easy” because nobody notices them before the swap, so nobody would notice the swap in general.

The final theories really make me realize how talented the editors are. Especially when working with a books series that doesn't have very many pictures. Also I love the theories themselves they bring up things that I never would have considered. I love these episodes!!

Anyone else cackle with joy after hearing the psychic friend Fred bear song? Always made me smile to no end when I hear it, and after so long of not hearing it and then it gets its own whole little song, that made my day

Alecs story always makes so sad, he just didn’t understand what was going on in his own family, but then he gets stuck in the most depressing spot that always sends me into an existential crisis

Plot twist: Scott doesn’t even know the story and is just making things up as he goes

Thought: The reason for the Lonely Freddys creation was so the company could monitor untended children so they don't get murdered. Except when the owner does the murdering, that doesn't matter.

Plot Twist: Scott Cawthon doesn’t even know the story, he is just making up the story

Here’s my theory: Cassidy ISNT the vengeful spirt. The picture of the vengeful spirt has short hair. Cassidy has described as curly black hair (I think, but if not, it’s still not short). Also, the vengeful spirt seems to know about the nightmares, I’m pretty sure that only C.C knows about them. Also, the spirt is described by the nightmares as “he”. Also, what makes Cassidy so different from the others? She hates William just as much as everyone else (as in the originals spirts).

So, here’s my opinion on FNAF.
I like how interactive it is, that hints and clues are everywhere and it’s like a real life scavenger hunt Very interactive, very smart.
BUT
man does this stuff not age well, and if you get into it late? You definitely miss a lot of the little things like Scott’s tweats and posts and such. This is the epitome of 2020s in a nut shell. ‘If it doesn’t use at least three platforms, why even bother.’

As a fanfiction reader and writer, I can definitely confirm that yes, theory crafting has a lot less "aggressive cuddling." But fanfictions have a lot less dead/body swapped kids tho.

Is this the last time that we’ll hear/see psychic friend Fred bear because he was my favorite character and the song was catchy.

Can you imagine if Scott just comes out saying: "Yeah none of this is connected. You all delved WAY too deep into this."

I'm pretty sure Alec in the story is meant to be the older brother (Mike).
His connection with the crying child is much more tenuous. Alec gets mad when he's at freddy's, not sad/scared like crying child(Evan?).
In fact, the younger sister in the story may look like Elizabeth, but would make more sense to be a parallel to Evan. Mike bullies Evan and in the games we never find out why, but in the book Alec bullies his younger sister because he's jealous of her getting to have her birthdays at Freddy's (Just like Evan has his birthday at Freddy's in FNAF 4) and him feeling like she gets more love from their parents (which Evan might, judging by how little William seems to care about Mike.)
Mike's relationship with Evan is more important than his relationship with Elizabeth, anyway. And Elizabeth in the books is already accounted for in Elenore/Baby.
That being said, it being about Michael and Elizabeth is not out of the question either.

In the cinematic after the 6th night, just after the « I will put you back together », we can hear a flat line, like he had no more pulse

Just an idea, what if the quote "I will put you back together." Is someone (possibly his brother/dad) seeing that the animatronics got crying in the end and killed him, the person who found him know about the lonely Freddys ability to body swap and did that to the crying child to fix him.

My original thought was that Alec was a parallel to the older Afton brother since he loves foxy (the older brother wears the mask around the house), he ruins his sister's birthday ( getting crying child bit), and while this last one's a stretch he gets his body taken by the lonely Freddy ( Mike getting scooped and controlled by Enard).

I've got a confession to make:
I've never played a single FNAF game.
Because, I'm too scared to.
In fact, I've never played a horror game in my life, because I'm too scared to.
But I love the lore behind a lot of horror games, and that's why I prefer to watch MatPat's theories, then to actually woman up and play one.

You know what happens when you "defeat" a Nightmare animatronic? It turns out they were plushies all along. I always thought that was like a silly thing, but it turns out it might have an explanation. What if those plushies are consciousness-switch devices? Think about it, if the Nightmare animatronics are really just plushies equipped with Illusion discs, then where's the true harm apart from just a scare?
