Drifloon only seems to go after unaccompanied children, so as long as parents keep an eye on their kids, it shouldn't be an issue. If anything the dex entey sounds like a German fable to ensure kids dont wander off on their own and parents keep an eye on their kids.

The, "Gamefreak is running out of ideas!" argument is such a bad one, because it's so horribly wrong, but technically also true. Yes, every idea Gamefreak utilizes means there's _one less_ idea for them to use in the future. So technically, they'll run out of ideas eventually. But the reality is that there's _so many goddamn potential ideas_ that it doesn't matter at all. The other reason it's stupid argument is because inanimate object Pokemon are still a _new_ idea. There wasn't an ice cream Pokemon before Vanillish. There wasn't a gear Pokemon before Klink. You may not personally like how the idea was executed, but to say they're evidence for a lack of ideas or creativity is simply wrong.
Pokemon is... also a kid's game, or at least it started out as one. Keep in mind the very _concept_ of Pokemon came from a child, Satoshi Tajiri, based on his love for collecting insects. Within the first two generations, the Pokemon franchise developed an aesthetic that was very popular with kids, because the monsters resembled notebook scribbles. A fire-breathing dragon, a rock with arms, a pile of goo with a face. I'm not saying they're _bad_ designs, no, but I'm saying that pretty much every Pokemon was based on simple concepts. A living ice cream cone that breathes icy wind, or a sentient gear that "evolves" by simply _adding on more gears_ makes perfect sense in the eyes of a kid, and so it makes perfect sense as a Pokemon.
And to end this rant, the _other_ main selling point of Pokemon is that there's a Pokemon for nearly _everyone._ You don't _have_ to like them all. That's literally one of the main points the anime references. Some people like cute Pokemon, some people like badass Pokemon. They're all _equally valid_ opinions. Calling others dumb for liking a certain Pokemon, or calling the Pokemons' designers dumb by extension, is just needlessly rude and ultimately pointless. It's fair to critique a design, and it's okay if you don't like it, but hating someone over their opinions on a fictional monster design in a video game is, at the end of the day, really silly and makes you look kinda sad.

The first forms I can buy that. But I’d say the theory holds up well when it comes to the last. Vanilluxe literally has a straw sticking out of its head. That’s some aggressive mimicry right there.

Yup , most of it’s dex entries just talk about how cute and nice it is , the game contradicts the theory all right.
Yeah, in all likelihood it was selectively bred by and for humans as a food source/pet.
But there have been other videos on ths channel that have proven that Pokedex entries aren't 100% reliable and contradict each other across different installments in the franchise, or just outright lie to the players.

9:25: What i never understod about all this Evolutionary Stuff is... a bit hard to explain... let's say 'How does it start'? Sure, it takes a lot of time, but how does it even start and how does it seemingly 'know' things? How does the Evolution know in what Direction to go?
The Animal can't even figure out such complex things like Mimicry, so even if it could tell its Body, it wouldnt know what to tell it?!
Somewhere, whetever between the Evolution and the Animal or between different Animals, there must be some High-End-Communication, or what?
And if not that, does Evolution just randomly Go in all Direction possible in Reality, and then stay with the Best?!
I mean, can Animals start this Process by Will? They see something with a different Colour and want that Colour? So over Generations they come closer and closer to that Colour?

I think that Evolution happens because of the area around them. It’s kind of like the evolution stones, Evolution stones radiate a strange energy that charges Pokémon up for it to evolve. Pokémon also seems to evolve depending on where they are, like if an eevee was near water they might most likely evolve into a Vaporeon. Kind of like how Serena’s eevee evolved into a Sylveon from love, fairies are known to be lovable and caring creatures on there own and being around A strong amount of love from Serena could have activated the evolution. And stuff like alola Pokemon could’ve evolved the same way but the area around them change how the type and look was like how raichu in every other region is electric type but in the Alola region is a electric and psychic type

Slevin Channel basically every x number of kids one will not have the same trait (let’s say color) as either parent and it is not inherited in any way as it was due to genetic mutation.
If a mantis ended up being born blue instead of green, and they are supposed to blend in with green plants, that mutation reduced their chances of breeding since they may just die before mating meaning that there are not going to be blue mantises kids from that mutation. Now if a mantis is randomly born that is brown that may actually benefit them and could actually help them survive to have offspring which would then also be brown and over time that keeps happening and competition for resources means that the more successful brown mantis is now established over the green one and adaptation has occurred (in that specific environment). Evolution is that on a larger scale (species level) and deals in larger changes than just color for camouflage: it may be losing a back leg or something else that completely changes the species from the original, though the original may still be around or another species could arise where the two are both descendant from the original (since it is up to the environment a creature is in for what sticks and if the old or new stuff works at all).

It sometimes even seems like Nature is deliberately planning something AND/OR the Animal is actually planning something. That's weird.

@@foxetti101 yeah but when you look at it, we help Pokémon grow stronger and be better potential mates. Or for species with lots of natural predators, we help them get out of life or death situations, and make them grow stronger or live in a safer place. Which would you pick?
@@foxetti101 Pokemon are alien combat/xenoforming drones. They do fight even without trainer and generally it is safer for them to have one.
