Ridley's immense speed actually makes sense due to his ability to fly into space which would mean he could be capable of reaching ESCAPE VELOCITY, roughly 25200 Miles per hour or Mach 33. And this isn't taking into account Ridley's OTHER ridiculous abilities. He is capable of surviving in the vacuum of space for extended periods, his skin is durable enough to withstand numerous hits from high-explosive missiles and directed energy weapons, he has the ability to project streams of high-intensity plasma from his mouth, his regenerative capabilities are incredible, and he's an extremely intelligent tactician and naval commander. His title, Cunning god of Death, is well earned.
Kirby is far superior.
Edit: I'm not joking. Kirby will literally eat ridley alive. If anyone cares enough, I will elaborate.

The scary part is that we cant account for how much Ridley himself is pushing down into the asphalt, because it's one thing to let your body "fall" onto someone but it's another thing to also use your muscles to really mince them into nothingness, and also Ridley's slouched so he would also be taller therefore adding even more weight
The scary part is that Ridley was SLOUCHING. Ridley's down taunt makes him stand up even _taller._ Including how the weight was the _lightest possible weight_ of the American Alligator, this just makes this *a lot scarier.*
Except that there’s no way of knowing how large Ridley is. Olimar is canonical about an inch tall, which clearly isn’t true in smash. When playing with smash, you play with smash psychics, meaning this move performed twice only hurts as much and jigglypuff falling asleep on you.

He actually got Ridley's height wrong. His down taunt shows that he's EVEN TALLER than what was calculated in the video. Which, really only makes this move even more deadly.
Isn't his weight possibly wrong as well? I don't see Samus's suit being over 440 pounds (but I could be very wrong) yet Smash's weight scale places her above Ridley.

Ridley was the character i wanted most in the game. Hearing he could impale using his tail was enough and then i saw his side B and my brain went "Damn, Theyre dead." Makes me love the guy more to be honest. Id love to hear how fast Ridley can fly, We know he can fly in space which would have way less forces acting on him, we know he can fly faster than F-Zero and Samus`s ship. How fast can he truly go? Near speed of sound in an atmosphere then he be tearing through space or foreign atmospheres.

To anyone complaining about Ridley being taller than MatPat stated:
In this case it really doesn't matter. It just makes him even heavier, and thus, more destructive.
But he also used average human measurements for all of his calculations, despite some of the fighters not being human.
Well, sure, YOU’RE gonna die, but something like Kirby might have different enough anatomy to survive. Or maybe that armor on the FE characters, or Bowser. Really, I’m just saying he should have addressed this.

So, technically no... it wouldn't break the law of conservation of energy: because that law ONLY states that energy cannot be create or destroyed, only altered from one form to another... says NOTHING about a person.
The Human body (and other living organisms, in general) constantly exchange energy and matter with surroundings. For such open systems, law of conservation of energy is not applicable, meaning congratulations... Ridley can apply all the force he needs to grind his target into oblivion.

This video posits that Ridley grinds their opponents to death such that their bodies desintegrate into particulate matter disjointed at the atomic level. This is consistent with both conservation of matter and energy. However, the comment of grinding them out of existence implies grinding the matter itself out of existence. This is what I claimed is impossible. It is impossible precisely because it is equivalent to violating energy conservation. This is because while you can convert atoms into non-atoms, those non-atoms are still matter. Even if you break the nucleus of the atom apart into flying protons and neutrons, you still have matter. Protons and neutrons are, by definition, matter. More specifically, baryonic matter, of the hadronic type. Neutrons may decay into protons, but these protons and neutrons can never be grinded "out of existence," because that is violation of conservation of matter. You cannot turn fermions into bosons, and even more, you cannot simply destroy fermions and turn them into literal nonexistence. It does not work like this. This is simply impossible by the laws of quantum physics.
Anyhow, what this does mean is that grinding *anything* out of existence is simply impossible, because such a command is even stronger than simply grinding it into particulate matter. And a person being dead is not quite the same as not existing, and if it were, then saying that grinding a person into particulate matter is not already synonymous to grinding them out of existence is stupid. Either way, that makes me correct in both scenarios.

Kirby smashes the fighters with his warp star in his down throw, This has been shown to go at speeds that transfer kirby through multiple universes in like 10 seconds. The damage he caused must be atomic or something. He's literally insta-killing them.
If Sakurai said that Ridley was “too big for Super Smash Bros” (even though he already has Donkey Kong, Bowser, King K Rool, and Ganondorf), but still added him to the roster anyway, then there is hope for Kraid.

According to some comics i've heard about TOO OFTEN on the vs forums, she's continent levels of tough. As in, explosion that reduces Asia to a crater, doesn't hurt her. So i'd say that checks out.

Ridley actually was going 13.603 times the 50mph road rash. If he did that to someone, they are gone. Ridley needs correction fluid, and he likes his red.
