I really enjoyed this theory because it meant that almost everyone lived happy lives after the studio shut down, while some died they weren't cut short of what was ahead of them. That's probably the most fulfilling ending for me

I actually thought Henry was an ink creature. He doesn’t remember that much about himself before being tuned into an ink creature though. So the immediate moments before hand like meeting with Joey are fresh. That’s why the memory in the kitchen is so vivid and the items he’s seen like the wrench and gear and what not are fresh in his memory & when he defeats the man that did it to him he relives them loop all over again.

Me: “well you said that so many time’s on FNaF... so I am VERY skeptical...”
I just finished the game, and it's really sad. Without considering the supernatural elements, Joey did a lot of horrible stuff: he betrayed Susie, treated Bertrum in a condescending way, stole Thomas' inventions, stole the credit of Henry's work, wasted money on risky plans and made many infractions against the USA code of safety. All his ambitious plans were like a Faustian bargain, and he paid the price.

So a person said that the whole game was just Joey telling Henry's daughter about Henry's adventurer to the studio in a very exaggerated way so she won't be bored in his house hence the storyboard on Joey's house, so the whole time Henry was just checking out the studio but there are no ink demons or ink monster it was just Joey telling Henry's daughter about Henry's adventurer to the studio that's why she said "Tell me another one Uncle Joey" maybe the next story will be Bendy and the Dark Revival and maybe the game will end with Henry picking up his daughter from Joey's home

this theory makes so much sense, and honestly.. its probably the saddest one.
This one makes everything metaphorical, while the others ive seen keep it literal, that Henry is trapped in a loop and the entire studio is a cartoonish hell and hes hunting for a way to break it. (seen from SuperHorrorBro)

I love the way that you get to see Joey drowning in all of his past regrets .But it is so sad that Joey is stuck in his past, so many of the creators are dying and Henry trying to figure out how to exit the workshop , but it appears that there is a demon trying his best to ruin Henry's life .
Although it is a sad ending, it is also a happy ending. Joey is able to be forgiven and to forgive himself and in that way the demons are put to rest. Far better than the idea that all those people got eaten by a horrible machine and the only happy ending is a release from a cycle of pain. I like this ending. It was sort of a "it was all a dream" story, but it was more like stepping into Joey's mind. An exploration of what it feels like to be tormented with regrets. Until I was diagnosed with anxiety, I was crippled by what I now realize were trivial mistakes or choices. I can understand the release of all the weight and tension that Joey felt when he was forgiven by Henry and was then able to forgive himself.
So, something I came to realize throughout all of this was that Bendy most closely relates to Felix the Cat. Felix was the king of the era of silent cartoons, a character people thought would be around forever. Until Steamboat Willie debuted, rocketing Mickey Mouse, and sound cartoons, into the stratosphere. Felix slid into relative obscurity, as Paramount floundered with the IP. Bendy even LOOKS more like Felix than Mickey Mouse or any other major star of the era.
Also, props to The Meatly for combining the three major black-and-white cartoon empires (Disney, Fleischer, and Paramount) into one big trio.

I can honestly tell you that I did not expect such a powerful meaning behind the ending of the game when you deciphered it, and I'm a fan of theories as well.
That's not tragic, that's happy! It means Joey finally broke free from his regrets and is able to move on with his life! It's a happy ending, with a hopeful message that anyone can find happiness eventually even if they made some mistakes in the past! :-)
I'd say it's more bittersweet than happy. Joey got his closure, but it consumed so much of his life.
Yeah, it is kinda tragic. Sure, he was able to move on in the end, but he's already aged. He spent all his life embroiled in his regrets and obsessions. There's not much that's left for him anymore.

Honestly, our regrets are the true horrors people deal with. It consumes us, traps us, makes us freeze... regret is just another way of being scared, but with much less choice about not being afraid.

The theory is amazing, I'm kinda sad that it's over T^T, the last thing is Joey maybe doesn't have a family but a niece and can you do a theory if Joey and Henry if there related to see if they are to confirm if Joey is an uncle?
How about this? What if BATIM's chapters represent the five stages of grief? Chapter 1 is about denial, which Henry denies about all the things happening in the studio at first. Then in chapter 2, the musical puzzles are hard and can be frustrating, thus representing anger. Next is chapter 3, in which Alice Angel bargains Henry to give her Boris and in return, she gives him freedom, representing bargaining. Chapter 4 represents depression, because the carnival tries to entertain, only to be ended with a sad death. And finally, chapter 5 is acceptance, which, you defeat Beast Bendy, who represents your grief, and you accept everything in the end.
The date on the Calendar during the final cutscene has been different during every playthrough I've seen/my own playthrough. There must be something to it.
I mean it's a loop constantly continues right? It might signify how Joey everyday regardless is going through the cycle of regret. So even if days months or years go by he's still going through the same cycle.

It would kind of break the "endless time loop" feel of the game to have the calendar marked as the same date in every playthrough.
I think the dates were the dates of when the people have been playing the game. Since the Bendy clocks were set to their computer times.

I think that this makes more sense than the other newer ending on this channel. I think that joey didn't bring henry and other employees and turned them into ink monsters. The new one also fails to explain the little girl at the post credits. And I dont think that such a prominent plot point would be only assessable to hackers

If you assume this theory is true, then Susie Campbell takes on a whole new dimension if you compare her in-game actions to what they correlate to in the real world. A young actress so excited to be given the role of her dreams, only to be suddenly replaced, she became bitter and vengeful. Susie lashed out at the studio. Unlike Henry who seemed like he eventually bowed out gracefully and started his own family, Susie probably attacked the studio, maybe she sued them, but more likely she's the one who started to reveal to the general public how Joey Drew ran the studio, she convinced other employees to join her, or gathered intel behind their backs, i.e. she "gutted" the employees for what she needed to bring down the studio, she didn't care if she got them fired, but was 'harvesting" she what needed from them. As the villain of chapters 3 and 4, she represented a vindictive former employee who attempted to take down "Bendy", who knows, her working with Henry might even represent her reaching out to him at some point for dirt. Ultimately her attacks faded when "Allison", the new voice actress for Alice Angel, replaced her, thus "killing" her.

My hypothesis is that all those Borises that Susie used were people who worked for her, and when she was done with them, she took "their insides." Thomas, however, refused to help Susie and when Allison was hired, he supported her. This would also explain why he didn't like Henry back in the last chapter, because he had suspicions that Henry was Susie's "little errand boy" as we saw in Chapter 3.

man who knew that it was a story about regret and not revenge thats good to hear that he realized what he had done in the past
Joey may've regretted it, but he still got away with everything he did, which was a big reason why the ending was so off-putting. We have no reason to feel bad for Joey. HENRY is the one that deserves to live freely. We'd been rooting for him since Day 1, so it was pretty disappointing to see the bad guy win.
