That gets me. Because of how tragic it is. Yes, Afton did horrible horrible things and I don’t think Golden Freddy shouldn’t be angry, but that scene just cements how sad it is. That their anger and rage is keeping them there to torture their killer instead of moving onward to peace and rest like the other children’s souls.
And that intro, kids, is how MatPat ended up on the FBI watchlist

Honestly, it would've made more sense if "the one you should not have killed" was Charlotte, Henry's daughter, because she was the one who gave a second life to all of William's victims who are the ones tormenting him in his purgatory. Plus she was the first one who William killed.

Since it's generally accepted that Cassidy is "the one you should not have killed", I'm kinda curious about something. Although the whispery voice behind the animatronics DOES sound more female, I'm kinda curious why multiple characters refer to them as a male. The later Fazbear Frights books introduced Andrew but I doubt it was intended for there to be two vengeful spirits present and threatening Will (Cassidy and Andrew). Was it just a random thing that we don't need to focus on anymore? I dunno.
I always love the cameos of the fan from the first FNAF video that show up in some of the theories.
Rewatching this, listening to Ballora's song makes me think she's talking about Elizabeth rather than William. An empty room? Elizabeth's room has no use after her death, and they probably kept her things in the same place. Empty tomb? They never found Elizabeth's body, so there was never anything to bury.
