That is an extremely weird way to throw a punch. He's taking a knee, contorting his whole body into a crazy sort os S, and then whipping that haymaker straight forward at belly level.

Actually, the calculations for igniting leather is misleading... in that it implies that the leather has to catch fire. Granted, air has a higher ignition point, so that doesn't help my case. Another issue is the assumption that his gloves are leather (or only leather). Perhaps there's some kind of cloth layer, or perhaps a flammable coating.

Can you do a theory on the lore behind among us? I know it sounds crazy but hear me out. Have you ever noticed how the crewmates have to do so many rewiring tasks and stuff like that? Seems kinda weird, until you think about it. I think the crewmates are hijacking the ship owned by the parasitic things that shape-shift to blend in. You might be wondering, "why don't the imposters do tasks about hijacking the ship to fit in better, then?". Well, it's because they don't have a reason to. The parasites ship is in perfectly fine working order to provide their own needs. And that's not even putting into consideration that the crewmates have a task in the engines that LITERALLY is meant to redirect the ship. Or the fact that the imposters have remote devices that can control all of the ship, even going as far as to shutting down the REACTOR. The theory has a lot of holes in it that I can't fill in, so I need some professional to continue the job.

Heating by friction in re-entry is a common misconceptions. When the ship or capsule re-enters the atmosphere. The heating is not due to the friction but it's the ram pressure of the shockwaves that causes the heating.
so when you moving at many times the speed of sound you have to worry about the heat produced by the shockwaves. when you compress a gas you heat it up.
Friction dose heat the object but is not a much as the shockwaves when the object is moving at supersonic and hypersonic speeds
the object moves soo fast that the air in front gets squeezed soo hard it gets heated to crazy temperatures.
For captain falcon his fist moves so fast that the air gets squeezed in front of his fist and catches on fire.

Funfact about friction and heat: The Concorde went so hot in super sonic cruise, that it expanded by 30cm. The inner cabin floor was mounted on rolls to prevent the passengers from noticing that. Pitot heat where turned off during super sonic cruise and the surface of the Concorde heated up to 120 degrees Celsius. I can agree with him about the raycons I have a pair and I wore them at work and it blocked out a majority of the machine noise. For reference I work in an automotive manufacturing plant with big loud machines and forklifts going all the time.

Captain Falcon vibrates in his victory screens (for reasons I don’t know) so that could be a source of heat needed to use his fire attacks

Why are we ignoring the fact that Falcon literally charges his punch before actually punching? That _small_ detail literally tells you that the punch isn't based in physics. Plus, y'know, the whole fire falcon thing.
Also his down special, especially in the air, lights up before he even moves quickly. You can even see this in this video, Falcon will drift sideways, light up during that drift, before the downward speed increase. It's in the range of 7:30 to 7:31, frame by frame, Falcon jumps up and sideways, then drifts sideways at the modified apex of the jump when the down special is triggered, twists then lights his fist, drifts for a good amount of frames more before extending his leg and lighting the rest of his body up, which then he finally kicks downwards. There's also a triangular flame front, which would be the analog of the falcon during the punch, that stays in place during the entire kick motion, including the pause of motion during impact, which only slowly dissapates after Falcon is fully on the ground again.
So now we can see that Falcon can not only charge an attack, but also sustain a fire even during an entire lack of motion. If we go back to the theory of him having powers because of his belt having the creators of the universe within it, who's to say that other belts don't have some amount of power themselves, or that characters themselves don't have some amount of power. Clearly there's a lot of lore missing from the franchise, so we won't have an answer until that lore exists, but Falcon's flame boils down to a power not based in physics, and we have the lore of _one_ belt to prove that's possible within the franchise, but we don't have the lore to prove that any person or belt has that power, but we can use logic to deduce that something about Falcon grants him that power, either himself or his standard belt.

Only thing now is how his glove hasn't burned off already

I just need to say thank you for making this video because I had used this video for my most recent English essay. We had to say who would win in a Smash Bros tournament in real-life with the original Smash Bros characters.

The fire could also be from the SHARD OF THE BIG BANG he uses to power the Falcon Flyer which has been shown to give power to whoever wields one

One small complaint: Your math is off by a factor of 1.5
It takes 2 frames between Frame 1 and Frame 3. Frame 1-3 are static points in time. It takes 1/60 sec from Frame 1 to Frame 2 and another to Frame 3.

I have an idea. If he used friction to ignite gunpowder that may or may not be in his gloves, would it work?
