Hi so I calculated 3 things he missed. MY BRAIN WILL NEVER RECOVER. If ur curious in what I got, I'll list it here as well as some things for people who have larger brain capacities than me. O, and the number DID change.
-Item frames. just add all the types of items without accounting for stacks, and than do that to the power of 8, and bam. barly scratched the number. This next topic, though...
-Maps. O my gosh MAPS. Skipping the complicated stuff, there are 973128256 possible maps, adding the different kinds of shades of colors it reads, and adding all the sizes, (128 by 128, 256 by 256, etc.) but we need to multiply that by 2 thanks to locator maps, and speaking of which, I'm gonna say the max amount of players that can be on a world at once is 2622, which was the largest amount i could find, add that, and i got 1946259134. But, we still need to make it that to the number of 31, (maps only rotate 4 times in an item frame,) and we have 9.2304011749936442677575054497359881993161522726436593146302... × 10^287
. add that into the slot for blocks, and, again, for blocks alone, went from 1.08 times 10^122 power is now 9.2304011749936442677575054497359881993161522726436593146302... × 10^287

-and finally, he did bedrock seed not Java. easy fix, seriously thinking maps carried the team. Though mabie i'm an idiot.
ADD IT ALL UP, and we go from 10^10^10^1.3134, to 2,93058 times 10^750!!! I have no idea HOW suggnificant this number is, but its bigger.

-as said, I found the most players on a world I could find was 2622, maybe u can calculate Enderchests.
There are 17 shulker boxes, one normal, 16 dyed. Good luck.
-armor and tool duribility is where I gave up, but there’s also enchanting and dyed leather.
EDIT u don’t add 2622 onto the maps, since that don’t just stand there. Idk how to calculate that tho. Also, if I got anything wrong, I’m sure u’ll correct me

I like that the Minecraft universal constant doesn't, in fact, alter the number value its multiplied by, but rather just scales it to incomprehensible proportions, thereby making any formula its used in essentially output a uselessly large number.

Nearly a 25 times increase from one addition. The reason Austin didn't include every little number is because even if the number did become bigger we as the audience would not be able to comprehend how much larger it is. He can give some impressive numbers but it won't change much
It hasn't been raised. The hard cap limit has been removed but can only be altered by editing server files.
They are however looking into the possibility of increasing it.

You can basically ignore all other blocks and block inventories with chests being so dominant in their number of possible states. Entities with storage however should blow up the number quite a bit (especially when you consider item durabilities).
Add to that double chests(potentially with shulkers)

Repeaters have 32 states ((4 + 4 when locked) * 4 rotations). Couldrens have a few more states. Some of the blocks can be rotated. There are a few more blocks with multiple states.
There is also a new update coming up soon.
We didn't even talk about item frames and signs... SIGNS!!!!

10:50, if you also count the fact that mobs can be placed upside down using nametags labeled Grumm or Dinnerbone, the number would ctually be double of your results of 12,960,000,000 making the the amounts of ways a mob can stand on a single block be 25,920,000,000.
He didn't even include the possibility of mobs wearing an armor, the actual number is much much bigger (I don't wanna count but i know that it's at least 1,000 times bigger)

By the way, entities can also fall. And items. Arrows in flight. Did you calculate spreading fire? The position of the sun? What about whether or not there are maps and how they are completed. States of items in furnaces? Blocks can also be facing in different directions.

As well as redstone dust and torches being on/off, repeaters being in 1 of 4 states, 1 of 4 cardinal directions AND on/off, comparator output levels, dispensers/droppers/observers/shulker boxes being in 1 of 6 directions, observers being activated and shulker boxes being open/closed, mobs with enchanted armor and weapons, jukebox notes, crop growth states, cauldron fullness, villager trade options, wandering traders and their trade options, banner patterns and rotations, firework colors and patterns, player/mob potion effects and their remaining time, mob/player health and armor levels, item frame held items and rotation, mob and item names... Not to mention player inventories: armor and tools with their various materials, enchantments, and durabilities, shield patterns, and being able to have shulker boxes and (soon enough) bundles within your inventory with the items still inside... Mobs can hold and wear equipment. Also taming wolfs, equipping any mount, and many more, maybe 100 mobs dying in the same block at the same time, you have to account for the different parts of the death animation, etc. basically you aren’t even close to the true number that should be called the Minecraft universal constant yet.

One thing you missed. Health states for mobs, like a creeper that's been hit once, and hunger for the player. Also, is the redstone activated, is the button pushed, is the chest open, etc etc.

Because if so than when you fill up you inventory, you could put all your stuff in a shulker box. You can then continue to do that until your inventory is filled with shulker boxes, which in that scenario you then put those boxes into other boxes, and repeat till you have THE ENTIRE WORLD in your inventory

@@calvinscarvings.66 More to the point, MC's world is modifiable to the most basic element, while GTA isn't. Basically, the more data it takes to specify a single game/world, the more open the sandbox. A GTA save game is much much smaller than a long-lived and well-explored MC world.

no. as far as i can tell; in the entire equation there is only one odd number, the rest are even. that means the result HAS to be an even number, and since the only even prime number is 2, that would make the minecraft universal constant a non-prime even number.
but all of that is meaningless seeing as how you have to multiply other numbers than one and the MUC itself together in order to GET to it. that would make it a non-prime. (i forget what the opposite of a prime is.) but there you go. mystery solved.

Austin you forgot about the different shapes of stairs. The Corner and Edge ones.
So there's actually (3 stair shapes Normal, Corner, Edge)*(8 states)=(24)*(36 types of stairs)=864 possible states of stairs.
Not sure if that math is right. But I know with the 3 shapes stairs can have, there are more then the 288 you said.
