It’s because the window was entirely closed and the actual one was slightly opened
When they announsed the truck they hit the door with a sledge hammer before throwing metalballs at the glass. By hitting the door they released the tension in the glass which made them more fragile

The reason the window broke down in tesla cybertruck show is cuz they tested it before. And it did some damage and when they did it on show it made the rest damage
@@YuhDJ Honestly, for me i found it VERY impressive, mainly because any window would have just let the thing right through. Its only after where i realized it was suposed to do even better. Still, live testing implies live problems, and i will always reward anyone with the balls of presenting an actual prototype and not a slideshow
@@YuhDJ actually that is not the reason, the reason is that the steel panel that was struck by the hammer reverbed and damaged the corner of the glass, armour glass is know to be considerably less strong once one section has been damaged

Half a truck was able to decimate a truck that weighed over 5000 pounds with the added bonus of a thousand more pounds
That’s how you know Hacksmith doesn’t joke around
We saw that in order to use twice the torque it needed to be half the weight. That alone isn’t impressive, but what is is that so much torque was produced from electric motors and through a very rudimentary drive train.
They added 1500lbs to get more grip, they also had awd on the ct. the Polaris would have pulled it if they had put it in 4x4 mode

Not really, the cybertruck would have zero chance if the F150 was in 4x4. Like he said, the ATV was put on 4x4 "to make it fair", so why didn't they make the F150 fight fair aswell? Because it would've won and this video about the Cybertruck would have been less impressive.
Ovb the full size 5000 pound f-150 would of won without the added weight in the ct or if the f-150 was in 4x4 it's just a cool video I'm pretty sure most people understand that.
Also notice how they waited for the truck to burn out and lose grip before starting to pull. The advantages were heavily in the ct favour but still an awesome video and build, would love to take it for a spin.

It's an older model f150 and they pulled it when the guy put the pedal all the way down and waited for the tires to spin to push the accelerator or the mini truck. So many botches in testing that make me wonder why I even try.

@@moreuggaduggas Full gas, 2WD, High diff, no traction control. If they set in in 4WD, had diff locked in low gearing and with traction on this little golf cart powered truck would get dragged (they probably did but didn't show it). Polaris also got low chances because it had slippery block style tires on a slippery surface. Also if the driver wasn't lead-footed the tc would back out and, again, the HS Tesla would get dragged.

Jake Finzel and it has a way lower center of gravity..... also the 150 is spinning his tires on purpose which I don’t understand either. While all that is happening the cybertruck since it’s so low to the ground is pulling up the front of the 150 and giving it less surface area to the ground.

The pull testing was really more of a test of weight and traction. Once the F150 began spinning it wheels the game was over. A true power test would involve payloading them to the same weight and then drag racing them. Which would also be very entertaining!

would be nice if it was a proper test though. if both cars started spinning, then id believe it. he was talking about basic physics, its a shame he missed some of it out.
