1. Why is it so slow?
It's just a test-bed hydraulic pump -- when the project is completed it will have a gasoline engine with a massive hydraulic pump. Probably atleast 10x faster
2. How's it gonna walk?

It's insane to me to think that I've been watching you go from a (relatively speaking) simple assembly for a pneumatic exoskeleton, to a literal power loader

Can't wait for the power loader to pick up the half scale cyber truck! With that though, aren't you worried about balance? I realize you're doing treads instead of feet (which I feel is a smart move) but when it's lifting something that heavy I foresee major tipping issues.... I'm excited to see your solution and the rest of the project!

The weight of the tracked base is gonna be 2000lbs or so, so I think it'll be fine =) Still need to confirm what base we're using though! We really want to try and get a catapiller base, since that's who made it in the movie!
They'll most likely need some sort of counterweight in the back

@@Warfare_Clown an old yale forktruck counterweight bolted to the back of the loader should work... probably.
You could do it kind of like a cab, on tank treads with the arms on the side, kind of like a fork lift but the arms themselves can grip.

No you couldn’t. Tony Stark is a super genius physicist, who invents things decades ahead of any tech available. Hacksmith is smart, but any educated engineer at Tesla, IBM, or Apple can build these things if they had the cash Hack does.

Getting it to walk involves robotics that even the military is just beginning to manage. Ridiculously strong motors to run the ankles, knees and hip joints, sensors for all of them and software to maintain balance much less walk.
Personally I'd use subprocessors on each joint to maintain median positions all co-ordinated by a master processor to stand up and walk, but I'm not on the project and they've evidently decided that it would be more effort than the result would justify. I mean, imagine being strapped into it and it fell over!
Give them a few years and Loader 2.0 will walk.

This is a really awesome build! And it's so cool how you went from "mom, I'm going out to the garage to invent now" to the real-life stark industries and saying "Jarvis, open the build plans for today," so awesome! It would also be cool to possibly see after the APL is completed, to go back to the original Elysium Exo and make some cool, modern upgrades to it!
