Support the build by buying our awesome new shirt! www.bonfire.com/hacksmith-powerloader/
the Hacksmith do you guys sometimes use your old projects for fun when your not working on something new?
Hey where did you buy the einstein, nikola tesla, elon musk and tony stark artwork?
So there’s this super famous teenager science newspaper in France called Science et Vie Junior that made one with the main subject being Batman’s gadgets in real life, I read it long time ago.
Read it again recently after discovering the channel and noticed they showed your grapple gun, and I got so exited to know about this art channel, just wanted to say: Proud of being part of this community !!
Hello I know this might be a little bit of a stretch to how you make stuff but you should build a titan from the Titanfall franchise
loving the project so far, but with the grabber i think it would be better to have gone with two big lead-screws geared together and if you make it on your CNC lathe,
you can have it so there's two opposing threads on the lead-screws for each side of the grabber and with a hydraulic motor this would probably deal better with flexing than the guide rails and not cost as much as popper linear guide rails but i don't know how much force it would have compared to the hydraulic rams but you could adjust that with gearing if you need more force.
Also I'm loving the whole power loader so far.
You should make a Hawkeye foldable bow
Yes
I'd imagine that would be easy lol
@@user-rl4tg2mr9n no they would have to make it perfectly functional with no major flaws if any flaws at all
@@oorohbooroz1781 true
You speak words of wisdom
Imagine if hack smith got an entire factory? The stuff you could make would be 10x crazier
100% better
Are you from the future?
No way i basically predicted that. Did i actually do that?

I honestly feel like this whole channel is the origin story for a superhero... Or villain...
Oh my god it is
I hope it is would be awazome but before he could actually be a supervillain or a superhero the fbi will get to his house and be like ''FBI OPEN UP''
This guy is budget tony stark
@@calamar8199 true. the actual tony stark is elon musk

7:45 you using Mjolnir to keep the arm elevated reminds me of Tony using Captain America’s shield to hold up his machine
Lol I tried to wipe my screen because I thought your pfp was some hair
(particle tube)
It is not the real shield hell it is not a shield even
It looks so simple when James does it, in reality, problems and all other obsticles are so anoying and it takes enormous amount of patience to solve and assemble this power loader. Well done, phenomenal work as you always do Hacksmith.
And when Bogdan was on the PC making the 3D model for the laser cuter he makes it look simple, but if you have ever used one of them much then you will know that he spent a lot of time and effort on that.
Jonathan B laser cuter?

Yeah.......But it's similar to the scene but with Thor's hammer...
you should make whiplash's whips from ironman 2!
Yeah!
I don't think y'all know how dangerous that sounds when you use logic 😳
Isaak Cepeda they made red hot light sabers, this should be a walk in the park
Those are easy to make
When you finish this, have it wield Stormbreaker.
Then you'll get some PROPER swings in!
If I had the money, I would help fund your whole company if I could. (Or at least get a membership) xD
Same
Me too
Same!
And thats probably why you dont have the funds. Hacksmith sure is company, but it works entirely out of donations from the fans and only other revenue is from shirt etc crap sales and little marketing revenue. Essentially its company that only eats funds and barely can operate as it is. TLDR: Its not smart investment to do profit.
@@Hellsong89I know exactly what it takes to run everything. but that is not the point here. some people make enough money that could handle stuff like this (example, spending a crap ton of money on cars and houses for no reason. that they don't even need/use)
So now we have a complete arm...
But just an arm
HECK YEAH
now only fine tune this arm, test this arm and constuct the same arm, but reversed and then build like everything else lol
I think you underappreciate the work that goes into one arm.
WE NEED TO WAIT 2 years for this to finish because there's foot body head that still need to be build
ZjamboSober next month: second arm done
‘How much for the arm?’ ‘Oh I’ll get that arm.....’ XD
Love where this project is going. Can't wait for the end result and you better crush some alien heads in the claws.
Alright "The Hacksmith"...
I have watched the builds for the Arm and the clamp... and i have one thing to note that you could do better on...
it may be a pain to accomplish but!
reroute the hydraulic lines (through the interior) of the arm's housing/frame.
you already have cut outs on the inside face of the arm. rotate the hydraulic rams to place their input and output hoses going straight through the face of the arm and then install elbows or just bend them to fallow the arms interior so that they are only exposed where they hoses go around the elbow joint.
If you look at machines companies like Cat make, they also put them outside. This is because the O rings on hydraulic lines do wear over time, and when they go out they make a huge mess, hydraulic fluid smells awful and it's a hot sticky mess. So having the fluid all over the ground is way easier to clean than all over the inside of the machine
My favorite serie, keep up that insane work

Hacksmith I live near you I can tell by that princess auto (I live near the cell tower in the background) is there any way I can meet you in real life? It would be so awesome I'm an aspiring engineer.
I love your channel very much. A suggestion for gripper as you discovered that the slot were warped during welding, instead of tie rods or two smaller slots, what i think is you can weld a plate above the slot, to prevent it from warping. This will not only improve the strength and force transfer, but also avoide the chances of thin edge of the slot near the gripper to fail during heavy bites by gripper. Also you dont need to modify current design. Plus you can use bolting instead of welding, if in case fir bearing maintaince or replacement.. Good Luck.. 👍
One step for man
One hand closer to giant robot overlords
Aron Goswami That skull is just one of the many it will crush
LOVE YOU GUYS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

Same I was going to show my friend his channel and then I saw the upload.
Rebels
Props to all the crew working on this, but especially to Bogdan for all the design work he's poured into this project. This thing is gonna be a beast when you guys finish it.
Maybe you could use the power loader to lift stormbreaker
He is simply not worthy...
You could use counter threaded high strength rod as a guide rail. Right hand from top to middle and left hand from bottom to middle. Use a hydraulic motor to rotate it. The rod has a bearing in the middle. Claws have matching threaded inserts. This will reduce the deflection when exerting pressure, reduce the demand on the hydraulics, reduce the hoses from 4 to 2, lighten the claw, and simplify the operation of the claw.
i literally see the notification and i am like, it's about time.
This project is gonna take about a year at leats that is my opinion

Of course it will I think even longer
It takes i think about 15 or 16 months

you do realise that in the first movie they said that theres like 50 deisel engines or there abouts in each of the "muscle/tendons(or whatever the word was)"

some people here are too retarded to understand the joke
@@evanosullivan4412 50 Diesel engines for each muscle Strand... it doesn't mean anything since you can find Diesel engines since 7hp and over 1000 hp, and you have no idea how many strands per muscle/joint/whatever those are attached to.

Ayyyye! We have the same laptop! Haha. The Acer one on the CNC machine, Acers used to be pretty crappy back 5+ years ago, but they have come a long way! I'm pretty impressed with this one so far. Although I have doubts it will last as long as my Qosmio x770 that I had for just over 7 years. Finally kicked the bucket big time last fall. Anyway, sorry my comment turned into a mini laptop review. Let's just say, I'm also in Canada... and Saturday is gonna be a good day. Hahaha.
Oh yeah, the powersuit is awesome! Can't wait to see the final project!!
definitely the best steel project I've ever seen on youtube. keep on the grind!
I've had this idea/question in my head for a while now
Could you technically create a floating platform/ship from and induced magnet depending from the power going through the coil
technically possible depending upon the medium used for the surface of the ground under it... but it would only work above said surface material.
better question is can he get a high enough voltage oscillating in several plated surfaces to negate the effect of gravity pulling down upon the said plates.....
The best you can do with that is a hover. But if you increase the voltage, and have a larger, lighter coil, perhaps you can go higher.
Crazy how you're making stuff from sci-fi into reality
Love using solid works as u can see from this video it’s very helpful
It's super early in the morning for me and I'll be honest, for a moment there I thought the flow divider was a wrapped-up sandwich oof
1:27 where did you get the spining thing from iron man 2?
Do that more! Love the actual design of the fingers and is really interesting
i like that they find a way to use Mjornir in almost every video.

This might even be powerful enough to battle the American mega robot from the fight against japan
It held its own a against a queen xenomorph
Duncemuffin Mcgee, lol that’s true
3:40 That's exact the same way I design most of the weld joints between laser cut sheets, except the inner lines are construction contours and the edges are rounded 5% of the thickness to ensure smooth movement for the cutting head.
