Really excited! Don't put excess pressure on yourself, or the team!
Takes me back to my hulkbuster days. Good project this so looking forward to see it develop.
Can your hulkbuster come out to play when it's done!? We can set up a mech play date!
Plz collab guys
Plz collab
Please do a collaboration and to you Colin just finish watching your expanding shoe hydraulic project
We have done a collab! I'm in a video on Colin's channel, and there's 2-3 videos on my channel with him!
Just search "Colin hacksmith" and they should come up!
The logistics and principle are fairly simple, but actually building it, that's a whole different story.
mad props
Its not a prop anymore
@@alexv1154 I meant good job, don't be like that man.
I know, was just trying to make a joke
The individual components might seem fairly simple, but when you consider the whole thing, the balance, and the control system, not so much in my opinion. It just seems to me it will fall forward when you try to lift a car. If it was just the arms, attached to a forklift or something, it would seem more simple.
@@herrakaarme I would try mounting a gym weight to a motor and control it with a PID to make a impromptu gyroscope to keep balance.
You guys need some kind of power loader to move all those bulky parts around. You should build one!
*Sarcastic dumb@$$*

Hacksmith: *flips a car with power loader*
It's funny because he *very much so lifts*
I absolutely love how you guys can figure how to create something and actually manage to put it together. Keep up the good work guys. Can't wait for the finishing product. Also, please don't kill yourselves.
You don't figure out how to create something _before_ you build it, lol! You Wing-it, then modify your design to suit the results of the 'experiment.'

Dat layout. being a first year machinist student, i find that so beautiful. I'm far away from being able to optimize the cuttings, but. Oh that's pretty.
After finishing the project, take it to a beach and flex those hydraulics at people!
I guess all I can say for this video is...Welldone man...keep it up, you're achieving more that Billions of People. Just think about that....Billions🤗💙
Not even 1 billion but sure...
ShadowLight Gaming well seeing as how we don’t have commercial exo suits yet and he’s building one with a relatively small team
Love how you were listening to Panic At The Disco... pretty sure it was Nine in the Afternoon good luck you guys 🤘👍

Omg I just realized that if Mr.Beast and the Hacksmith teamed up we would have lightsabers and a working iron man suit by now
Lets try and get it to happen then
I was just thinking about it
I don't understand why people think this is so innovative, they are doing something most engineers can easily do, its still impressive but they are not doing anything revolutionary to the field of science.
@@Jonathan-ih9sm because your so called engineers won't even bother yo make something like this

This is what hacksmith does he gets bullied at school builds a 600 pound mechanic arm to punch back stronger
Isn't that similar to the plot of the Incredibles?
Intoxi_cz 0 punch back harder
The fact that KRplus hasn't come to you for a sponsored series is a crime. This power loader project would have been perfect.
Your videos are honesty amazing
Honestly
Someone asks hacksmith if he even lifts pulls out 600lbs of robot arm....
R u only making this so you can carry all the shopping in one go
Thats just too op
No, to carry all the shopping in one go, sip that capri sun in one go and to do a full shid without having to wipe is behind.
People who wipe their butt without having anything on the toilet paper are mr. Clean confirmed.
I can't wait to see this completed build... talk about childhood dreams coming true!!! Its totally impractical as stated but just to see it actually built and operational in real life makes it all worth it!!!
After this, the only logical project would be a Hulkbuster
Who else was waiting for the Power Loader update?
once a month!
Thank you guys! I'm in Poland, so you publish all your films around 11pm!!!
Great to see such promising work from my fellow Canadians! It’s truly amazing to see what’s possible through creativity and a liberal coating of ingenuity and know-how.
Exited to see the next part of the build!
Cheers!🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Wow, the speed of prototyping and fabrication have really come up over the last year. Looking forward to more of this. I think you need a side project to go along with this one though... a modular gantry system. LOL
Loving the more detailed builds, as well as the small things like the trip to the hardware store.
Finally, a weapon to surpass metal gear.
hi Justin
Wow I'm super early

Hi Justin Y.
Bro, I want to be just like you guys when I get older. This project that you guys are doing is by far the best thing you guys have ever done!

Hahaha
It will probably be 1 1/2 tons when he's finished. But It can lift 1,200 with 2 arms, Thank you hacksmith very cool
its just so cool seeing you visit stores and seeing places ive been to. also welcome to my life im an assembler for tigercat a couple cities over from you guys and these hydraulic hoses are what i do most. for anyone who wants to know what i build i do the entire upper frames for both the 870D and 822 model machines
This is gonna be your most amazing build ever. I dont know how you're gonna get it to walk. Maybe wheels built into the feet that freewheel and lift the leg slightly so it pushes forward with the left and free wheels the right? Itd be kinda like..skating with a 10 ton piece of hardware...lol
I’m really liking this format for the videos. Really interesting to see more details of the entire process. I hope you guys can keep it up!
Wow, my first heart on youtube ever. Thanks!
If i win a lottery I'm pouring all my money into this project
Hi

Of course
You should give some to them
Not in to this project butt make it yourself
Looking great guys, I can't wait to see this all come together.
I would recommend Loctite 545 for final assembly of the hydraulic fittings.
Maybe once it's all done! Going to be replacing all the hoses eventually
Man ohh man this is awesome.. it'll take ages but keep up the good work guys!

experience building a little excavator by my own I can tell you that you need different valves to control that thing properly. You need ones that not just allow you to control the direction of the flow, but also the amount of flow. Lets put it the nerdy way: Not digital (1/0) but analog :)

but where did he learn engineering in the first place?
If only putting together furniture from IKEA looked as easy as you put the arm together
I just saw Kitchener Steel, and it made me happier to watch knowing that you're Canadian, Like always great work!
Bogdan is probably one of those employees that are more than happy to work overtime and overnight even unpaid to just finish this project. Look at how happy he is throughout the video.
Yup.
Let's chant together Bois
Mech arms...Mech arms!... *Mech Arms!*
Loved the subtle Panic! At the disco - nine in the afternoon playing in the background

'I wanted the bigger motor...'
Bogdan has chaotic energy and i love him.
I was watching something else, saw the notification and then immediately thought...
*More Important*
Y know what´s funny? For creating of this power loader, it would be easier, if another power loader could help you lift the mass.
In other words - another one is needed, to create this one.
What a paradox?
But, well done. Keep doing what you can. (I wonder how far could you get, if you achieve in this one and other ones as well. Maybe one day, you will be able to create a spaceship from, maybe Star Wars, or anything like that.)

Obviously the most practical use of Mjolnir
For a continously rotatable gripper that still grips, use 2 hydraulic motors and a modified differential. 😉 That solution kept me awake for 4 hours last night.
Why not just one? Still continuously rotatable
@@theHacksmith when they rotate in the same direction, it would open or close the gripper while it remains still. When they are reverse one another, the gripper would rotate but hold its clamping position. Move only one motor and the gripper would do both motions at half speed.
The sole purpose of the differential would be to control the clamps of the gripper. It took me a while to figure it out but put simply, the diff would control a lead screw that moves the clamps.
I could probably try to throw together a 3D model of what I'm thinking of, it would be kind of complex, but I think it would be the ideal way to get a continuously rotatable gripper that can also open and close.
Interestingly enough, I just realized a simple rack and pinion would also accomplish the same thing, since the grippers on the actual arm are linear.
I study robotics and gripper design is one of the things we went into depth on. They're actually pretty interesting and more complex than a lot of people realize at first
Look into megabots, they made a large bot also so you may be able to learn from their mistakes?
This is gonna be so cool bought t shirt
OMG 12 LIKES THANK YOU
"Why are all our projects so heavy!?" - Bogden.
Me: 'cuz you guys are METAL!
If you really want to know what it's like to ride a robotic arm, you should check out Dynamic Structures in Port Coquitlam, B.C. They make roller coasters that go into service around the world, and have been experimenting with an industrial robot arm with a seat attached. Discovery channel tried it out one time, and left the tester terrified. An industrial robotic arm is so fast they had to reduce it's speed many times in order to make it (somewhat) safe.
Love your videos keep it up
if you can do that, you can also make bobba fett's suit
Now we know where the Power Loader was built, proudly Canadian! Alien Queen starts to sweat!
I know it’s just a garage, but these videos somehow make their workshop seem absolutely massive
Damn and I thought making a model plane was hard.
If Mr.Beast funded hacksmith then they could afford to finish flying like iron man lol
Studgamer I don’t think the money itself is the difficult part
Really? we always talk about how funding is the difficult part... haha

I like your videos and I appreciate the effort you put into them.
Today, at lunch, my friends and I were hanging out, and I saw one of them looking at your post, so I said you like the Hacksmith? My friends and I then proceeded to have a twenty minute conversation about our favorite of your projects
Betting this project will be finish next year or more based on how much time it takes for each part, but hey like the saying goes "Go big, or go home" and you guys are going big.
I heard P!ATD at the beginning and audibly gasped. YES. Amazing people, beautiful project, glorious band. These are the makings for an INCREDIBLE outcome
Hahaha you're right!
Man you guys doing some real progress, respect :)
Hey while this is heavy , once it’s built you can lift stuff with it as it was deigned in the movie, well possibly if the hydraulics are still strong enough after lifting its own weight
It cracks me up... how much you guys use Mjölnir. Other than that... Looking completely ******* awesome!!!!
1:04 IS THAT PANIC! IN THE BACKGROUND
I was thinkin the same thing
this. is. so. cool.
I remember in my metals class in high school we would have to move 800lb sheets of 6x11ft steel flat from one room to another, it took like 6 people to move each sheet. It was 1/3 inch think steel in case your wondering and/or trying to do the math.
I love the video and the project keep it coming what's great. I've literally laughed out loud at the end with the Haynes manual
