What is a proto-Death Star?😂 He doesn’t call it a protosaber because he made it, he calls it that because a protosaber is actually a type of the lightsaber. It’s one that’s attached to a battery pack like this. This was the first design of a lightsaber before they figured out how to make it without a battery pack in the early Star Wars universe

You laugh but it's real. It's too inefficient for the government to use. But there are at least 300x as many of us as there are of them. Probably more.
We get to spend gross amounts on inexcusable swamps. And the end result is we can field an actual protest of 10,000 lightsabers if we tried. This would be expensive but not impossible. 10,000 Hacksmiths out of 300million Americans = 1 in 30. In other words 1 guy per class. That's all it takes.
We're probably closer to 1,000 than 10,000 but we are easily past 100.

Utilizing sound waves can make the light or reflect. The right pitch can even make light stop. I'm doing a project where I'm using sound waves to stop the heat from the reactors such as fusion reactors from expanding into the metal shielding. It dawned on me. You can use sound waves the same way to stop the energy waves of light from traveling distances. And even containing the light into a reflective beam stronger than even laser.

It would be nice if you can make a "glowing sword" that fires some sort of a light beam when you swing it just like in the show!
I like how at the start when you said that a lightsaber would require an astronomical amount of energy to work and then showed the clip from back to the future. Doc thought that it would be impossible to generate enough energy to run the car, the same way that we think that it's impossible to generate enough energy to operate a lightsaber. Maybe one day in the future somone will figure out how to do so, if we haven't destroyed the world first. Now, I know that a lightsaber would require a humungous amount of energy to work like in the movies but still, I thought I'd mention it.

Ken Vernon Well, that’s not the only way antimatter can ever be made. The universe is constantly spitting out antimatter, but it instantly gets annihilated because of there being more matter than antimatter. So there _is_ a lot of antimatter around, it just gets destroyed once it’s made.
