- Welcome to the new reality show series "Hanging with the Herberts" where Josh & Abbie get candid and invite the cameras in to capture the chaos of life with a baby and a toddler.
EP. 01 - Empty House Tour : Kicking off the new series Josh & Abbie invite you into their brand new home. This has been a dream come true for the couple. There were lots of road bumps along the way but their vision came to life in the end. They couldn't be more excited to show off their space and spill the beans on all their design secrets.

Truly, Josh is such a creatively gifted, extremely capable and brilliant man. His attention to detail.. and visionary abilities, are next level. This is SUCH a beautiful home. It's very reminiscent of the simplistic, streamlined and super sleek futuristic modern Clockwork Orange architecture.
I absolutely love it. And the flute panelled feature work throughout the home.. looks absolutely sTuNnInG! 🌳

@@TheHerberts The Herberts Josh listening to your highs, lows, and task jumping. Im 100% sure you have Adult ADD/ADHD people think of a crazy out of control kid when they think of ADD but for adults its completely different, it controls every part of your brain. Please take a minute and research it
you will be absolutely shocked what it can consume and affect in your every day life
there are plenty of beneficial medications that arent unhealthy
please let us know if you research it and what you think

Josh should make house plans and brand it under his name. Like, SERIOUSLY. He just made a ton of woman wish they had that kitchen, laundry room and master bathroom. Brilliant. Congrats you guys. So we’ll deserved.
All I can say is WOW. You guys managed to make me laugh watching a house tour video. I’m so impressed with everything you’ve made and all the creative ideas that went into your home. I know Poppy is going to love growing up there and I hope it works out for you guys!

Abby!! That closet would make a perfect war room to pray in! The house is so beautiful. Great job thinking about the details like hiding the return vent in the bedroom, and the slightly slanted flooring for drainage. I think the convection oven is such a beautiful piece. The playroom being near the larger living space truly shows that your children come first. I love that your mom is staying with you. What a treat to have family close by.
Yes! we love having everyone in one space in the house.. that's why we did such an open flowing first floor plan!
Wow!! Your house is seriously perfect! I love the light fixtures being from an actual artist. The walls look so neat with the slats. I don't know the correct word for them. The pool is going to be so nice to have. Everything is beautiful in your new home. You did a fantastic job making and designing the perfect home! Congratulations, also.

Today i listened to “In our little world” and “Ohio” i had to hold back tears such a strong voice such kind and meaningful words for Abbi Josh is truly a good man. Abbi I always knew was remarkable and great to hear how Josh sings about her with such passion tells me I’m not wrong. I wish you two nothing but a long long life in this beautiful home together I pray that your family grows as you wish/meant to be. beautiful memories to make in this house to come I’m so excited to see your first Christmas.

WOW, i am so impressed at the idea that Josh designed this home. It’s undeniably breathtaking. I am so excited for your family 😍 also, I can’t wait for the induction cooktop video! We are currently in the process of closing our home, and the whole house is electric! It came with an induction stove, and I’m nervous because I’ve never cooked with one! Lol

Very nice, guys! I loved that Josh jumped in the pool. I love that you kept it as just a basic beautiful pool. I'm glad it all came together before fall gets here. You will still have a couple of months to enjoy it. Will you be putting a gate around it? You must video the first time Poppy gets in & realizes it's hers!!

Congratulations! That sphere light in the big room though reminds me of the moon in Ariana Grande's Sweetener tour and Josh mentioning Noguchi made me recall similar lights with Troye Sivan's home in an AD tour. The separate interview shots are also giving reality TV vibes and I'm here for it!

I’m not into there being no separation at all between the entry and the open plan of the rest of the space, but it’s their home so it doesn’t matter how I feel about it if they’re happy

Your home is beautiful! I see a lot of Japanese influence in your design choices--the nature, clean lines, wood paneling, the lights. I love that it has a modern, clean, upscale flare. I think American trends are heading in the direction you designed in the next year or two.
