Kelly is seriously a wonderful person. She’s so kind and took the effort to properly say each members name down the the accent. Also the fact that she also made it a point to talk to each member and not just a select few was much appreciated. Also the fact that she complimented jeongyeon’s voice made me so happy. You could tell that meant so much to her. Hopefully JYP remembers that and utilises her voice in the future more often. Because I have always said that jeongyeon’s lower register and deep voice has always been beautiful and smooth to the ears.

Their company YG made a deliberate attempt to make them popular in the USA early on, giving them very Westernized music and style and recruiting members who could speak English. While Twice, who uphold the true Kpop sound and image, focused on taking over Asia. They became the nation's girl group in Korea and had record-breaking concert tours in Japan while Blackpink were taking selfies with American celebrities and releasing one song a year. JYP didn't care about Twice becoming big in the west until they had firmly established themselves at home. They're not following anyone, they do what they want and they're killing it.

I'm impressed that Dahyun and Tzuyu spoke English every chance they got during this whole promotional tour. I know neither of them are fluent so it was brave of them to show off what conversational English they have. I know Nayeon is studying English, she must lack the confidence to try it.
