It’s just touching seeing how they held hands in solidarity talking about Willie. They seem like good people. I definitely will be watching SATC where sunsets are not airbrushed.

this is hypocritical... they baaically wrote him off by making him fly off to japan without respecting anthony enough to say a proper goodbye... its like the writers couldnt be honest enough to write in the death or just are too lazy... if theyre concerned to have 2 deaths in a row then they ahouldnt have killed big off... they knew willie was sick... oh well thats wokes for yah all talk no work... 🙄
@@lisafoodie8443 I think Willie Garson knows his time is running out and wanted to film AJLT for the whole season to wrap his character up. He only finished 3 episodes but I think he intended to finish all 10 episodes.
Kristin seems like the sweetest person in the whole world.
These women are my age. I was in college when SATC came out. I don't care if what they put out is good or bad, I will watch it all. Of course, I know it's a show, but it does have special meaning to me. The issues they explored, the time. It was a historical show and I will support these women. So good to see you guys again! I love all of you!

Same here. I was 16 (almost 17) when the series first came out and I've been a die-hard fan since day one. I've been watching the new series and even though I don't like some of the writing, I'm still watching because I can't not watch.
As soon as they showed Willie's picture...I just cried like a baby. He was such a big part of the show. Truly missed.
It’s because Stanford Blatch, I was able to come out and to be myself and don’t give a flying A about what people thought about me and who I was as a person.

They are wonderful. I'm crying a bit - when they talked about their friend Willie passing (you can see that he was a friend, not just a colleague) and how they held hands for support 😭.... I'm looking forward to this new SATC. Yes, it will be different, but life changes, and if I want the "good old one" - I'll just re-watch it ;)

What terrible news to hear today 💜💙 Heartbreaking to hear of, no matter what day.. :3 But definitely shocking & heartbreaking when I heard on the night they started announcing it.. And his poor young son, left behind. I can't quite remember for sure, but he might be around 12 or 13 :/ I can't imagine losing someone that important at that age! 😬💕

Hehehe. This is pleasantly funny. They've spend their entire lives denying comparison from their characters in Sex and the City but they're EXACTLY THE SAME. Charlotte and Kristin Davis would literally cry and be super emotional. And Miranda as a Lawyer and Cynthia would exactly be the type of woman who would run for Governor.
With one main exception. Kristin chose a life as a single mom which is not an easy choice to make. Charlotte on the other hand focused most of her adult life n finding the perfect husband.
yall can say whatever you want but Kristen has never been more vivacious, interesting or relatable to me as she is in this interview! Goes without saying Cynthia is forever impeccable.

I hope they sprinkle it with lots of relevance in today's world, the reality of American situation & human lives that have been affected by the change.
I love Kristin Davis. I honestly don’t know why and I can’t say that I feel that way about many actresses. I’ve never watched an entire episode of sex and the city, either. I just saw her in a really sweet tv movie that she did in 2019, “Holiday in the Wild.” Definitely recommend. It’s got everything in it and it’s not sicky sweet, just very entertaining and satisfying to watch.

They are obviously both so talented and so was Willie. They are just so genuine. And i'm excited for the new additions to the cast. It'll be fun to see how the other talented artist develop. So excited. They do it because they love it. And they have put in a lot of years and work. They have worked hard over the years.Sending them kindness. Light and Love
I think it's important to see where they have been and where they are going as characters and actresses. Seeing these women again, on television, and in my own age group really wakes you up to your own wrinkles. But their wrinkles and laughlines are awesome to me and I am grateful to see them in all their glorious lived in selves.

I've just finished season 1 of AJLT and I absolutely loved it. Those who say it's bad were probably expecting the characters to do what they used to do when they were younger. They're old and the show aged appropriately....well, in most cases. lol

I love that Stephen doesn't shy away from the topic of death. It feels so dishonest to just not talk about dead people anymore, although they were part of our lives for so long. We all need to embrace death and lost ones and not only talk about them in a melancholy manner.

I had no idea that Willie had passed away. I loved him in Blue Collar too. They were going to bring that show back too. That was before the pandemic so I don't remember if it was a go or not. I just don't think that it would work without Willie. He was a bigger part of that show than SATC. A big loss for his family and friends and the industry.

But throughout this interview I felt like it's actually Miranda and Charlotte doing the interview.

The show And just like that is incredible. I love it. It really captures the essence of the original show in a new chapter. I’m so happy they decided to do it without Kim. Kim was offered 10 mil and still refused which is fine. I just hope people realize they didn’t WANT to do it without Kim. Kim WANTED them to do it without her and expressed so. I hope everyone can move forward and enjoy what we have.
I also want to mention in the show that they leave the door open for Kim/Sam to return if she so wishes. So that’s great too, they didn’t kill her or anything. Amazing women! Amazing show! And it’s sad about their costar :(
Also them bringing in queer, POC, etc all was a great choice. That is and always has been New York and that is the reality and it makes it so much better. We get to see glamours and witty POC shine. I’m loving it. Can’t wait for next week!
