If you had asked any casual golf fan 3 years before this if Tiger would win another tournament let alone a major, 99% would've said no way. To be able to go through all that he has gone through, whether you like the guy or not, you have to admit it's one of the greatest comeback stories of all time.

I was actually at this Masters. In February (of 2019) I got a birthday card in the mail from my dad and the card had a picture of the 12th hole at Augusta on it. I thought that was odd, but then I opened the card and it said “Congrats! You’re going to the Masters!” needless to say I was shocked. My brother had passed away only a few months earlier, so getting to do this with my dad was very special. It was an unbelievable experience. I might have sprinkled some of my brother Max’s ashes around the course (Amen Corner and behind 18). I remember talking to my dad about it and saying “Everything changed at Amen Corner. Do you think Maxer had anything to do with that?” He simply said “Absolutely.” Augusta is the most beautiful place on the planet. I wish the Masters experience on everyone.

2:40:14 - The reason why Jack Nicklaus won so much was that he made the most pars when they were needed. The putt on hole 9 is, in my opinion, one of Tiger's greatest shots. He could have easily screwed this up and walked away with a bogey, even double bogey. He'd enter the back 9 with confidence shaken. But he made par. Sign of a champion. This putt ensured his confidence - he could do it. We'll remember the tee shot on 12, 16, and the putt on 18. But this putt on 9 was absolutely terrific. If you're a true golf fan, you know what I'm talking about.

I’ve watched this 3 times from ‘Amen Corner’ and it still gives me goosebumps every time. Thanks to the Augusta National Golf Club for making this available.

Probably one of my favorite masters I’ve seen in my lifetime. Maybe the 6th time I’ve watched this front to back. Cheers to tiger woods. Golf wouldn’t be where it is today without him.

This never gets old. I hear his recovery at home is going great and his backyard golf course is getting a redo. He’ll be back before we know it. He doesn’t quit. He’s got till he’s 50 for a grand finale. 2019 Masters is a gem nobody will ever forget.

I remember Faldo telling the story of how Tiger thought he was done at the 2017 champions dinner, and was hoping to be able to play recreationally. 24 months later he’s getting the green jacket put on him. Unbelievable

There was some fear that Tiger might have a hard time walking, after surgeries and injuries. For him to come back to this, like this, is nothing short of the greatest comeback in the history of sports.

It takes a incredible surgical procedure and then a whole lotta want-to on Tiger's part.

For many this is Tiger’s finest victory because of the process with his injuries etc.
That adds to it but to me this is his finest victory because of WHY he won it.
Because in -97 he was by far the best golfer in the world. He could hit shots no one else was even close to. It was impressive but to me only to a degree when you are just better than everyone else.
This time however he had to do it in a completely different way and to me Nr. 12 showed exactly why he won it (in an interview with Henni Zuel he explained his strategy in detail).
This time he excelled in smartness, strategy, experience and patience and to me that’s as impressive as it gets.
Don’t get me wrong, he is/was still an unbelievable player (I really hope he can play again) but there are many players in the world today who hits the ball stronger/better than Tiger. He won because he made the right choices at the right time.
