This song brings so much loving and caring memories for me and my dearest Dad (God Bless Him) when I used to take him out every weekend in Manchester. We had the best of times ever. He now has gone to the better place sadly to say, just over two years ago now. I love you dad. Until we meet once again for a pint. He was 91 years old!
Mavericks seriously need to tour Australia again best band around. They are the pinnacle of entertainment showing just how itβs done. @@MrTherbst about 2013 but was only a pub concert in Sydney went on and appeared at the Gympie muster in Queensland not far from Brisbane where I live. Raul Malo made a solo tour before they reformed in 2012 as well.

Love the Mavericks. Raul Malo's voice can sing anything and make it sound wonderful. Eddie and the band and the keyboard and drummer - Oh My they are so good! perennials!
I stumbled on the music of the Mavericks by accident. I hang out at the Columbus (Ohio) zoo waterpark all summer and two summers ago they had this song on the continuous soundtrack that plays non stop for 3 hours at a time. I had to use google to find the name of the song and was stunned to find it wasn't as big a hit as it deserves to be. Glad I found it though. I bought their greatest hits cd and my next move is to catch them in concert if they get to Ohio in 2024.
