That was really fun Danni ! Thank you for taking me along; I imagined how totally exhausted if I would have had to climb up all of those stairs 🥵 then all those slanted sections of that House: I have vertigo of course.
BTW, I am actually NOT lamenting over having been stripped of my Barbie Dream house which I was restoring; I think I will be able to enjoy the rest of my elderly years with Barbie in it 🥶 tomorrow is Easter, I will be spending the day with my two Daughters and my grands and great-grands tomorrow, at my younger Daughter's park like setting she has 1/3 of an acre absolutely gorgeous trees, fruit trees, raised vegetable gardens, 5 new baby Chicks, (they are still inside because it is way too cold outdoors for the tiny Fuzzies. )
I won't be biting my nails, any longer not relaxing, thinking , omg, what will I discover missing from my treasure trove of Barbie collectibles My Grandsons will be there WITH me. 😏🧐

Glad you enjoyed Calico. It’s near Hesperia, our town. We took our girls there many years as they grew up. It’s so great we still have places like that preserved for us to see and appreciate life in the past. They still do civil war reenactments every year. It was especially fun watching you enjoy it too.

Yermo, California is a must stop! "Thrift n More," is always a fun treasure hunt! So many unusual items! Too bad you forgot to go back to get that pretty blue hen-on-nest. My favorite piece is the parrot pottery dish. "Calico Ghost Town," was a fun to tour. Thank you! Neat jewelry finds! Enjoyed being with you and Rachel. Memories made. ❤😊

I went to Calico Ghost Town when my dad was sent to Ft. Irving, California during the Berlin Crises in 1963 I think. I was 6 years old. I’m 68 now.

What an awesome video! Hi Danni and Rachel! Always love a visit to Yermo and the ghost town was interesting and creepy.... I could not have gone into the tunnels... Nope! It's nice as the kids turn into young adults to experience things like this where you can both enjoy it and make memories! You don't have to watch c h little ones terrified they'll get hurt. The jewelry was a sweet find. ❤❤❤😊

Fun to see these little ghost towns in the desert. I’ve never heard of them so learned something new. Had to get my map to see where they were.

I went to calico in the 60s . We never went to the ladies house cause she still lived there.!! Also there used to be an undertaker's horse drawn herse! My favorite part was the grave yard.
