Right! There was something very motivating about him forming his own company. Pam giving up her job for a not sure thing + to better herself. And Michael reaching out to give Ryan another chance. Plus things got serious when they changed the opening credits that one time
I know. It was an amazing story arc where Pam grew as a person.
They could have cut the Michael Scott Paper Company story arc into The Office movie. From the moment Charles showed up to Michael winning at the end and getting his job back was perfect.

I hate the next episode on this where they fighting over accepting pam and ryan as saleman. I hate when Phyllis was confronted by Michael when she said "I thought we we're family." yo when Michael left and needed you guys only pam goes with him.
To be fair, Michael made the decision to quit. They all have families and reasons for why they can’t quit so it’s unreasonable to make them. And sure Michael might have wanted to fight corporate but he also hurt the branch and made them look bad when he stole their clients.
Okay there is not a better show in the history of television nor will there ever be.
