I loved this version of Andy Bernard. I dont know why they ruined Andy during the last season. He was so lovable and i felt compelled to cheer for him as an underdog. Then they made him so arrogant

They was Hating on him prob because he was going to make that Movie. Regardless he didn't Deserve his character to be ruined just because of that.

@@SteveDice21 yeah people often spout this conspiracy that the producers all hated him; they really didn't. they just needed a reason to have him leave the show. but at some point they lost track of the fact that andy bernard was not the weird angry loser from season 2 anymore, and that he'd actually experienced character development. and so instead of designing a solution that makes sense for his character, they just assassinated him. to me andy ending up with erin at the end of season 8 was the second jim and pam, and him convincing david wallace to buy back the company was the second michael scott paper company. but none of that matters.

Captain Capellini In one episode, Creed got in trouble because he didn't check the quality of the paper before many of their clients got paper with cartoons doing it. If he was an accountant, he'd be in the corner with the rest of them.

I was once told that the reason jim can pull so many pranks durring the week while also being the best sales person is because he works this hard for about an hour on monday, with the remainder of the time being spent planning out pranks and doing occasional return calls.

Agreed especially when you look at what they ultimately did to him.
Even though the show was going steadily downhill even before Steve Carell's departure, stuff like this proves the show still had some life in it even after Michael left. It's when the writers decided to screw over Ed Helms through the destruction of his character that the show finally ground to a halt.

Pretty accurate depiction of all the ridiculous "morale boosting" hoops companies jump through before they even CONSIDER wage increases, the one thing people actually care about and the one thing that would actually be effective
Well not actually. Some companies really can't afford to pay their staff more, but they also need the workforce and the productivity. Gamification is a viable alternative to wage increases until you are at a point to pay your employees more. You need revenue to pay your staff, and if you don't have the profit, you can't do it. There is also a psychological component when implementing something like gamification, where many people see it as a competition among each other and then try to out perfrom their peers. Where wage increases wouldn't necessarily do that, since you could feel you deserve the increase anyway, so why work harder.
That said, if you have the capability to pay your staff more, do. Many people are suffering, but something like gamification can increase productivity and the moral/fun around the office at the same time.
