The beginning of the stream would have been more appropriate for Friday's Pre-Show because at this stage in the game you already know what the finalists went through to get here so no need for another repetition of that. At the same time, introducing their final teams would have been a nice teaser to get people even more hyped up for today's matches. This would have freed up some time and maybe, just maybe, we could seen an additional match from the winners or losers brackets, or maybe a friendly commentator showdown. The matches themselves were phenomenal and were testament as to why Sword and Shield is the more superior format for VGC competition. It makes it seem totally worth it to me and why I decided to begin my VGC experience and career in seriousness with this year's online events and take part in the fun, the games, and the stress while getting necessary experience with the format. I hope we have a 2021 season, even if it ends up starting online because that helps create more feasible opportunity for those who want to participate but maybe not able to, or these days not want to, travel to a tournament. Great job and well done to all the featured finalists, your battles were all worth watching live! Go team Coalossal!
With the amount of Pokémon hanging on at 1 HP this stream you'd almost think that people calculated these very specific strings of moves and stat changes. Dragapult life orb damage x5 and Porygon2 +1 SpAtk Ice Beam: 100% to live with 1 HP. :P
In my opinion, i would suggest milotic on a team. I chose milotic because its ability competitive can be triggerd mor often because most moves have a stat lower effect, making milotic's attack or special attack stats rise.
Also, in this tournament, players have access to their opponents Pokémon, moves, abilities and items before the set even starts. So the commentators aren’t giving away any info the players don’t already have access to.

If you record it and send it to them, they usually take disciplinary actions. Idk about Switch and Mobile devices. It also depends on the game policy as well.

The clock is an intentional game mechanic to reduce the effectiveness of stall. To criticise a player for optimal play and using it to guarantee a win isn't good form Edit: I now see the game you guys were upset about, there was an earlier 1 turn stall that was a guaranteed win with timer, the second stall game was suboptimal play which lead to a situation where luck was required to stall out the timer. However, luck was required with or without the timer, as the corvinight player could have opted to bulk up in between roosts and out damage the porygon. crits or repeated full parras were the way to lose either way.

It ruins the community. Epic Games removed the Mechas when people started giving them so many negative feedbacks. The clock on the Switch is no different. They can remove it, less it, add more time. But they have it there and people will be cheap about it. It's why we now have these ban lists for Pokemon and YuGiOh. They make something then they ban it 🤣. The clock could be in that boat. I don't get it either. Rosemary is not only a vgc veteran but she's gorgeous to boot. What's not to like? I assume people compare her to Aaron who's extremely comfortable with casting/public speaking thanks to his KRplus career. Rosemary will surely improve with time but she's nowhere near bad enough to warrant any hate.
Because singles is incredibly tedious to watch for casual fans. It’s so much about positioning and setting up, there’s a lot more switches and matches can take a lot longer than 4v4 doubles at really high levels. And that doesn’t really let them run best of 3 sets in tournaments as easily in one weekend.
