You know I tend to watch more sports than anything else and I have to say as much as I love Pokémon I wouldn't have been able to watch most of this through if it weren't for your quality broadcast team. Very knowledgable and great delivery, props all around
shoutouts to the one person who brought chandelure against a rain team TWICE, you gotta have serious guts to bring a pokemon that can easily be shut down, let alone bring it again after losing the first match
It's nice to see the winner will get some support for travel to an international championship. I for one would rather support in the form of a cash prize but at least there is something worth playing for. I also appreciated the little bit on showcasing the Tapu Fini since it is the most commonly used right now but I wish she went into greater detail with the consequences of its ability because there are intricacies with terrains that beginners won't understand necessarily even when they experience them for the first time. For example, the effects of any active terrain will only apply to those that are "on the field" and this defined to mean something very specific in the game that advance trainers would understand.
I love the trick room move in xy ash kept using flame charge when trick room was still in effect until trick room was gone fletchinder became very fast! I hope you guys use it
Hey bro, check out silph spectre on youtube. He does true power gym leader tourneys. Its definitely worth the watch. He just started the hoenn tournament and the kanto and jhoto are done already.

Hey, one day when technology advances to the point of using holograms, I highly believe it will receive mass attention. Same as yugioh. Then just put the players in shock collars or something 😂
Not sure what you mean, but in Pokemon you can have a max team of 6 in your party, and in these tourneys you can pick 4 of those six to bring into battle
How? It’s not a ohko on metagross. Maybe if he used surf instead of reflect. BUt of course, reflect serves it purpose, and also the gmax volcalith residuals serve their purpose! They can tilt games!
Tbh the dumbest thing jake did was pull out rillabloom in game 2 when he could have taken out metagross with 1 horsepower. He would have been left 3 against one comfy
Ngl it kinda sucks in doubles. The only reason it was used was for justified back before the isle of armour. But that introduced terrakion and cobalion, who just do it better.
Watching a match that has; Hail damage, Vocalith damage, and Grassy terrain healing all going at once at the end of every turn is super painful, please streamline your game Gamefeak
These casters feel so....bland. There's just no personality and I legit started to nod off around the 100th time I heard the phrase "...this attack going straight into...". And isn't the Player's Cup an open information bracket? Why are they reacting to items like it was some kind of surprise tech? The players already know each other's items and movesets, but the casters sound like they're completely out of the loop.
Does any one even watch this stuff? Edit: i don’t want hate. im just saying, pokemon always uploads things like this and they usually dont have many comments. I mean this one has no comments besides mine (at least right now).

I was so confused when I was it again. Especially since Rillaboom does 50% damage with Grassy Glide and Entei having rock coverage.

I was literally gonna say the same thing lmfaooo I was like ???/
Can we all agree that Wolfey’s Kartana dodging that overheat at 44:50 was legitimate plot armor?
Wolfey plot armor strikes again with that Overheat miss ;)
Damn after having the first game against the wall wolfey really dominated round 2. Guess his training against regigigas actually paid off.
Aman! I'm rooting for Wolfe to win the cup!
I know . I’m so proud of wolfey
You should've had the first one though. The odds were in your favor.
He came prepared for regi and wheezing

where do they do their research
Why would that guy ever bring that chandelure against a rain team, not once but twice 🤦🏽♂️
