@@captainmarsh3664 Zarude needs more then what it has, its weak to a lot of common types and lacks the tools to handle them. It does not even have knock off. Its pretty much just good for U-turn spam. For this gens mythical, its pretty disappointing.

What r u talking bout? He's in the game for like 2 months now, got him 3 times. U just needed a code from a movie ticket from Japan.
Since Pokemon Day, aka February 27th 2020. Japan has already gotten their first Zarude and are getting their second soon enough
February I believed they teased him, on Pokémon day

The movie was suppose to release back in July

You can buy codes online from Japan. They'll send you the code and you can put it in the game and receive the Celebi and Zarude mystery gifts yourself. I hope they still do the shiny Celebi in the US though.

Ngl I kinda hope that they don’t release shiny celebi, because I worked super hard and spent so many hours on getting my shiny celebi from Pokémon Crystal VC, and I feel that them just randomly giving them out just devalues the shiny celebi as a whole

This pokemon cannot learn the move Sandstorm and frankly, I'm a bit disappointed.

I still think Jungle Healing is kind of a lame signature move, specially since zarude doesn’t seem to have the defensive stats or typing to really use it
Other mons will get it aswell in the future most likly

Its defensive stats are actually good at 105/105/95; the problem is its typing due to the many weaknesses. My main issue is the signature move due to it recovering 1/4 of its health, yet it does work like Heal Bell. Still wish the recovery rate was higher.

@@alexbrown8900 highly doubt since its a signature move, unless they do a legendary event and give the move to it, like what they did with Darkrai/ Arceus and the creation trio signatures

The movie does seem to make them look like a good parent though.

3. They'll most likely email you a code to get Zarude

@@vincentr6242 During the legendary Pokémon promotion in 2018, Heatran and Regigigas were distributed through newsletter codes just like Zarude is here. However, like 90% of people never got their codes and TPC did *nothing* about it.

@@sirmel11 nah. All the way back in pokemon ruby and sapphire they have released events like that. Look at the mew event for example

@@sirmel11 what they would add is the ability to actually catch the pokemon. It feels cheap when they just hand out shiny legendaries without us even having to go through the effort of catching them like every other pokemon. I feel like a pokemon is very devalued whenever i just get them for free. Its like "ok cool i got a shiny legendary time to put it in the bank and never remember it again" instead of "wow. I finally encountered and caught that shiny legendary ive been trying to get! Time to show it off!"

Literally just Life Dew but slightly better. And Life Dew isn’t even that good in the first place
Life dew is only good for raid battles. Zarude will find a use in some 5 star raids but honestly it may just be better to bring a powerful pokemon who has super effective moves with a high crit ratio.

Leaf Guard is not the best selling point of a Mythical. Chlorophyll, Touch Claws, Protean or even Prankster could have made it more appealing

Jungle Healing heals both members on the field, instead of just one. It also removes status conditions, something Heal Pulse also doesn’t do.
Heal Pulse is a different move, Jungle Healing heals both pokemon and cures then of status conditions.

This Pokemon is so similar to Zeraora I mean they are both mythical, both of them have their names start with the letter Z, they look similar, and they both serve as some type of friend/guardian to one of the characters in their movies.
