I'm excited for it because unfortunately I never played Ultra Sun or Moon, so I missed out on the events. Plus Sword and Shield is the first mainline game I decided to play.

@@LunatheMoonDragon Not really. Dynamax battles being longer would just annoy the constant complaining commpetative community and ruin their fun. Having long dynamax battles would be nice in something like a legendary raid battle at the end of a max raid adventure as it would make the battle better for people who dont have friends. Then again legendary pokemon would become less elusive. I just see it as enjoying the pokemon you like as rarity doesn't make it much more special. The fact that dynamax battles are already unfair wouldn't make it a good idea to have it, it makes me wonder what's even the point of broken stuff when all of it could be banned in competitive, which gamefreak probably wouldn't do because apparently listening to communities isnt a big thing for them.

Here are
Top 15 features wanted for the game:
1. Johto and Kanto separate: There are far to many Kanto Pokรฉmon in Johto and vise versa (the latter shouldnโt happen because how Johto Pokรฉmon coming to Kanto is highly unexplainable).
2. Gym leader and elite four fixes: The Johto gym leaders have too many Kanto Pokรฉmon too. Falkner should have Hoothoot and Noctowl instead. Bugsy could have Ledyba, Spinarak, and Shuckle instead (or have Scizor instead of Scyther). Clefairy isnโt a Normal type anymore, so Furret might be better for Whitney. Morty should have at least 1 Misdreavus. Chuck should have a Heracross or Hitmontop. Jasmine could have a Forretress and Skarmory instead of 2 Magnemite. Pryce should have Delibird and Sneasel instead of Seel and Dewgong. Clairโs team is fine. Will has too many Kanto psychic types, so better team should be Espeon, Slowking, Wobbuffet, Girafarig, and Xatu. Kogaโs and Brunoโs Kanto history makes their teams reasonable, but Forretress should be replaced by Weezing and Bruno should have Steelix instead of Onix. Karen team should be Umbreon, Murkrow, Sneasel, Houndoom, and Tyranitar. Lance team from Letโs go 1 should apply for the sequel (with Kingdra evolved from Seadra), but with Ampharos, and have either Ampharos or Charizard Mega Evolve. The Kanto gym leadersโ rematch team from letโs go 1 are fine to use while Janineโs team is already good as well. Lorelei and Agatha should return as side quest battles (have them be able to be rematched).
3. Safari zone: Thanks to the remakes from the DS, you could have 1 GO park, and a space left to return the safari zone.
4. Motherโs savings: It can get rare items in the previous remakes, so bring it back please.
5. Odd egg: Itโs the best feature in Pokรฉmon Crystal, so please return it with the same function (dizzy punch and 14% shiny rate).
6. Trade improvements: Receiving a Pokรฉmon that can trade evolve in an in- game trade should evolve (Bellsprout to Onix didnโt, so have it hold a metal coat next time, and have the Abra to Machop trade be a Kadabra to Machoke trade instead). The rest need other types of improvement.
7. Buyable Pokรฉmon: Have the Game Corners have mini games, and have the Battle tower and Bug catching contest earn BP to buy hard to catch Pokรฉmon.
8. Previously unobtainable Kanto Pokรฉmon return: Just like the remakes, return fossils. To get the Kanto starters, have the Johto Pokรฉdex completed. To catch the Legendaries, have Pokรฉmon letโs go Pikachu/Eevee 1 data to obtain in their original locations of capture (if Pokรฉdex is completed already, then Mew will be obtainable. Meltan/Melmetal can be obtained in Pokรฉmon GO, so transferring is possible).
9. Both Celebi events: Have the GS ball return to catch Celebi. And have Celebi unlock the Giovanni event from HeartGold and SoulSilver (unless Giovanni gets a role in the main story directly unlike the previous Johto journeys).
10. Spiky-Eared Pichu: Have the Pikachu-colored Pichu and Spiky-Eared Pichu event return, only that both cannot evolve, breed, or be traded.
11. No roaming Pokรฉmon: Do anything else to encounter Raikou or Entei. Suicune can be put anywhere as long as Eusine returns.
12. Items: Have the Red scale attached to the red Gyarados boost Gyaradosโs stats since all Pokรฉmon receive EXP anyway, so the EXP share isnโt necessary. And return the Berserk gene ๐งฌ item as the item Mewtwo holds like how Ho-Oh always holds a Sacred ash. Have the GS sounds key item return from the remakes, since it has the best music.
13. Apricorn Pokรฉballs: Have the special Pokรฉballs return, for (without the glitches) they are very useful. Have them also forโฆ
14. Pokรฉathlon: From Pokรฉmon HeartGold and SoulSilver, this was the best feature in the games and should definitely return with very little changes since itโs already perfect (should also earn BP from winning).
15. Master trainers: Have all 153 of them return in their previous locations with ๐ฏ new ones all over Johto. Have the Kanto ones defeated to battle Blue again, the Johto ones defeated to battle Green (who should also return), and have all of them defeated to battle Red (have all 3 battle legends be able to battle again after a rematch with the elite four).
You forgot one: Mega Evolutions.
I didnโt forget. I know they are going to add Mega evolution already. Itโs inevitable.
