Having an opinion is another thing, and being toxic like this is another. If you didn't like Sword & Shield that's fine, but have you considered that younger audience, for example, might actually be appealed by the design choices causing your frustration? Or that not everyone play Pokémon for the expansive story you feel you've been deprived of? I personally love Sword & Shield, with extra praise going for the top notch competitive seasons it has brought about.

@@nicolasgoulet4091 Ah, I see it now. I apologise for jumping in the conclusion of your accusations coming from toxicity; it appears to be that you're simply misinformed.
In my earlier comment I intentionally used the term "desing choice". With this I meant to address the common misconception of simplifications, such as more linear Routes and Caves, being result of "laziness" or "corner cutting" or whatever. These are intentional choices made by Game Freak, as their approach on such is to react to feedbeck and focus test. My example might not be the exact same with the "quality issues" you have with the game, but I'm quite sure they fall under the same explalation regardless.
The price of the original game is high in comparasion to older entries simply because SwSh are first party Switch games. The rise of price also hit different countries in different ways, delivering a sort of equality to the game's price internationally (the rise in price was about 50% in US while just a meager 25% in Japan). SwSh EX and Home adding to that price directly depends on perspective: If you compare the price of SwSh EX to the price of UsUm you'll notice that you save money for not havig to buy the base games twice. I think this esily justifies the Premium Plan Home requiring a small payment. And if all of this doesen't convince one to be worth the price they don't have to buy all that to play the base games.

@@nicolasgoulet4091 According to my knowledge, in order to have cognitive dissonance there would have to be a paradox between my actions and values, one of which would have had to change. I can assure you that neither of mine have ever changed for this reason. Then again I'm not very good at psychology, so by all means, do correct me if I've misunderstood something.

Here I tought we could have a civilized conversation about our opinions on SwSh, with me dropping a few facts as corrections here and there (if you were wondering, my apology about that toxicity assumption was indeed sincere).

@@danielalexandre89 It is totally fine to not like SwSh and think it is easy. However, in making the games easier Game Freak has apparently answered the issue of too high difficulty that younger players have been experiencing.
Saying that all animations of old Pokémon are ported from Sun & Moon is just wrong. There is at least one new animation for each returning Pokémon that is used when Dynamaxing.
The issue of the game's price ramping up by 50% is US exclusive and therefore should not be blamed on the game objectively in this manner.
And trying to say you could have been more successful playing your favourites in older generations? Would you have popped off if Wolfe Glick tool Players Cup II Champion's title with Landorus Therian? I doubt that.
