There’s no proof that it’s pay to win, you shouldn’t judge a game until you’ve put at least 2 and a half hours into it
I think it's pretty natural to think this game will be pay to win seeing as the game isnt "free to play" but "free to start"
Secondly I dont mean it as entirely pay to win, you will probably get decent pokemon to buy through maybe a gacha system, or entirely something like league of legends where you buy the characters, I'm suspecting the latter since it's just league of legends/mobile legends but with pokemon and a twist
Finally, sorry that I over exaggerated at the time, we had to wait a whole week for this big announcement that everyone was hyped for to see another mobile game as the big project

a. They hyped it up for the week despite it not really being anything too special
b. They made a flashy direct that appealed to our memories of the game even though it actually has nothing to do with it
c. They acted like it was something cooler than the new Pokemon Snap
d. They're partnered with Tencent
I feel like three out of four of those problems wouldn't exist if they put it in with this direct, and maybe swapped its place with the new Snap.
