Bruh in the main series Garchomp actually gets worse as a Mega because it’s stats slightly lower but hopefully in GO they change that to make them go up a tiny bit instead but at the same time not Male it too OP

It doesn't get worse. You can run an absolute defensive mega Garchomp with almost zero attack investment and do massive damage because of that ridiculous attack. Garchomp is a fast pokemon so you would think making it slower is bad but they actually made it so op that you don't need to invest in attack. Not to mention it has sand force so earthquake does even more damage in sand.

Almighty Keys Nah it’s just really hard to get mega energy from mega raids which I can’t get since
1.) There are no Stops near me for half a mile and gyms for 2 Miles
2.) I have nobody to raid with

@@furnessespeon thanks for the info. maybe before hating on the new update ill give it a try. But i refuse to pay anymore money than what i already gave to the game.

@@almightykeys4734 the problem is that you have to do like 5 raids if you don't pay is terrible then the price drops to 50 energy which takes you like 2 raids and only lasts 4 hours. So you waste all those passes to borrow a stat boosted pokemon when you could have caught legendaries or other pokemon you need

I mean I'd take the free and easy to use Dynamax in the main line series over Niantc drip feeding Mega release which is locked behind $$$ for a temporary unlock that you have to pay more $$$ to keep the ability to mega.

@Shiro Zidori Okay... All I mentioned was Dynamax in the mls is better then the pay to play dead content that Mega's are in Go.
Plus you don't even need to buy the DLC to get the most important parts of the DLC's, the Pokemon themselves.
I'd take $30 or whatever for the two DLC's in Sw/Sh over paying more then that just to mega evolve a single one of each of the three Kanto starters once (counting both Charizard forms) followed by an on going cost to keep on doing so.

@@1sa45 Omg dude yes. Literally, what I want the most from Pokemon is a full on Gen 4 remake with Mega Evolutions or another Gen 2 remake, but with Mega Evolutions. Personally, I want it to be the regular way of how to play the game, and not a Let's Go Johto version. I personally hate Pokemon Go mechanics in Let's Go Pikachu and Evee. Then eventually we can hopefully get a Gen 5 remake, but with more megas.

@@lw62345 I mean, yeah that would be scary AF, but that's what made those games so good. Gen 4 especially was tough. That's why it was so much fun. The older games were more fun because they were tougher and had actual good rivals that would be jerks to you. Whereas the more recent games are relatively easy to beat and all of your rivals want to be your best buddy forever instead of actually wanting to beat you and talk some trash. That's why some of the best rivals are Paul from Gen 4 anime, Silver from Gen 2 and Gary Oak aka blue from Gen 1. Rivals from Gen 7 and Gen 8 are too friendly. Specifically Hop

Yes yes those are the freaking points that they didn't think this through, I have a gym at the other side of the map and guess what I never has mega evolution pokemon and I don't have friends they don't play this game btw they didn't do anything for people with that problem thinking that they can change that by less shards of mega evolution
but look at what were we are now

@@justpaps4799 every game they have put in mega evolution you had to go get the stones again. Don't get your point. This has been a common theme now in pogo. You grind for rare candy people aren't complaining about that are they?

@@justpaps4799 you had to collect them in x and y, you had to collect them again in sapphire and ruby remakes, you had to collect them again in sun and moon (this one you had to grind bp to get those stones) and then in ultra sun/moon......so yes you did.

Would be to much, but I agree dynamax is shit I just can't like it, big fat pokemons with crasy HP boost and game breaking moves with bonus effects. The idea is just bad

Ah yes because having to grind specific raids to make 1 Pokemon go Mega for 4 hours before having to grind again for that is such a better feature...

I bitched about it in my own comment but I agree. They gave Megas to a lot of Pokemon that didn't need them and so they scrapped the concept because they were too broken, instead of giving it to the Pokemon that did need them, now we get nothing. Gmax forms are okay but they're temporary and don't do anything outside of added HP. I'm still mad GameFreak skipped over Gen 2 starters and I'll never get my Mega Typhlosion, who desperately needs the stat boost, a different ability, and a bigger movepool, yet Charizard gets 2 Megas AND a Gmax form. I think that's what pisses me off the most. GameFreak screws up their own concept so we can't get anything new now. Gmax's will now just be another one-off mechanic just like Megas and Z-Moves (but to be fair not many people liked Z-moves).

The mega stones are in the game data but the actual mechanic isnt, theyve been doing this for years with items. theres data in the games for items from gens 3, 4 and 5 etc but they dont actually do anything

Yeah for only 4 hours tho and then back to wasting money to get raid passes and grind more mega candies. Have fun with that.

I feel like gen 2 starters have it the worst. No dynamax forms, no mega evolutions, no z moves, not even unique abilities or moves

@@KollctrKelYT exactly, and Gold having been my first Pokémon game, being my favorite game in the series, being my entire childhood, and having some of my favorite Pokémon in it, it pisses me off to no end. The fact they were literally skipped over doesn't help. Gens 1 and 3 get Megas but not 2?

Meowth got more attention than charizard. It has 2 regional forms, and a G-Max form. Also, it exist in all Gen.

Only Kanto starters and Beedril were actually added in. The current system ensures you won't even be able to use the mega's much once they leave the raid pool since you won't have the ability to keep gaining energy required to mega evolve. A horrible system overall.
