I know someone who has 75k followers with very little engagement, they don't even post often. They even DM'ed me asking to buy followers for them. It's something I'll never understand. Gotta earn that stuff yourself.

When I was outta work, I was looking around for work, and there were people looking for a "trusted" Yelp accounts to pay $30 for fake reviews.

Hate speech isn’t illegal. Neither is lying or putting out disinformation. Facebook needs to just stop censorship all together and let the user decide what they want to see.

There were times I got put in "Facebook Jail" for posts that showed no nudity, had no profanity, weren't graphic at all, but were humorous innuendos (about sex). Yet across my news feed would come hate speech, blasphemy, and even porn- all unsolicited- and not an eye batted, though I reported it.

I get it that people try to pay for extra views or whatever bc they want to share what they are creating. For youtube you can promote videos with AdWords from google even though I think it’s filled with bots. If I ever use it I never get comments from it. It’s hard trying to grow a channel.

Maybe those accounts just talk about Songland, that would explain the lack of activity.

Facebook counts 2-3 seconds of watch time a view. If you scroll through your timeline and stop for a couple seconds on an autoplay video, they count it as a view.

On the Facebook hate speech issue since you guys went by that fairly quickly, being on the right I can say that it boils down to the idea of a slippery slope. Right now there is a push to create "hate speech" laws but the issues with that is who defines what is hateful? If the left is allowed to choose then there will never be a standard and eventually it will lead to government crackdowns on seemingly innocuous statements. That is the same issue with social media platforms. Giant unelected corporation being in charge of what people are allowed to say is a problem. Couple that with the fact that these companies routinely cave to the ever-changing will of a vocal radical minority is a recipe for exactly the type of censorship we see across the web even now.
If you want an example of what issues these types of rules cause you can look into the guy who was banned from Twitter for saying "ok dude". If it sounds too ridiculous to be true then thats exactly the reasoning those of us on the right have for opposing these types of rules.

Can't tell you how many racist comments I have reported that were deemed "not against community standards" and it was blatant as hell not just a joke. I'm not one of those people that just report everything but some stuff isn't called for and they receive no reprimands they just keep typing.
