AFC north could have MVP, comeback player, most improved and rookie of the year..
most improved would be the same as comeback though

Joe Burrow - 1st overall draft pick, star wide receiver returning from injury

Total qbr average for each division last season (2019)
T- 1st = 98.8 NFC South + AFC South
2nd = 98 NFC North
3rd = 96.4 AFC West
4th = 95.5 NFC West
5th = 95.4 AFC North
6th = 89.2 NFC East
7th = 85 AFC East
Ben Roethlisberger I used his career qbr (94) since he did not play. Also for Jarrett Stidham and Joe Burrow were not included at all so I just averaged the starting 3 qbs from there divisions. AFC East and AFC North.
Do you mean Passer Rating? Still good info as QBR is an ESPN proprietary stat which the way it is calculated is unknown.
@@TheHolySC All he has to do is look it up and average them, he doesn't have to calculate it
@@iamnotjcook I know. What I was saying is that he is using passer rating instead of QBR. A 98 QBR happens 2-3 times a season across the entire NFL, so a 98 average doesn't make sense. The point I was saying is that even though they are separate stats, I still agree that his assessment is correct.
Ah the QBR....wasnt Dak and Winston like top 5 in QBR last year??
@Rat-Phink - Technically the NFC North is 3rd on this list and Aaron Rodgers was 12th in the league. They're that high because Cousins was 4th and Stafford was 6th. In fact, Rodgers' rating of 95.4 last year brings down their average a tad.
NFC west has Russ who was the runner up for MVP, Jimmy who brought his team to the Super Bowl and Kyler Murray is a stud what’s with the hate towards them being 2?
Russ is better than every QB in the AFC west
@@erictheviking7646 no way you think russ is better than mahomes
WinterXL how tf has russell fell off 😂 the dude had one of his best seasons last year. I aint no seahawks fan but godamn dont be dumb
Russell is the best QB period. Murray is a soon to be star. Jimmy G just took his team to a SB in his first full year while coming back from an ACL tear. Jared Goff is solid and maybe a top 15 QB, but the clear worst QB in the division, which just shows how good the division is. Goff has taken his team to a SB and shown he can ball out tho so he could definitely bounce back in 2020
@WinterXL i dont see how being the only other QB in the MVP conversation last year is falling off. The hawks were only hampered last year because of injuries, if they were healthy they were most likely gonna be in the SB
The nfc west is one of two division with 3 quarterbacks that been to the superbowl
Soon to be 4 of 4. Go Cards
@@richardclark1127 in ur dreams. GO HAWKS!!!
yah im not sure why these guys were so butt hurt that NFC west was 2. they are for sure top 3 at worst.
Goff didn't really belong there, he's definitely a lower tier than the rest, but Russel Wilson being a god and Jimmy G being solid upper tier definitely make it deserved. Kyler is good too, still learning though
Superbowl is a team achievement though.
Afc west at 3 ? The only qb i trust in that division is mahomes
Yeah as a broncos fan I would even say that’s a bit sketch because drew lock hasn’t played a full season carr is a bum and Justin Herbert hasn’t played a nfl game but Patrick Mahomes is probably the best nfl qb rn so it is what it is I guess
@@robwestb02 Carr isn't a bum he's just... not great. He's got all the tools to be nuts, he's just so conservative that it's stupid
Carr is the type of guy who needed a more experienced vet to come in behind him, something he’s never had. Maybe the competition from Mariota will be the spark he needs, but I think he would’ve been better served by having that more experienced guy playing behind him in his earlier years
@@iamnotjcook Not saying he's Pat Mahomes or Russel Wilson, but the argument that he's "too conservative" is so dumb, it's GRUDEN'S SCHEME not Carr's conservative playing. People need to understand that 😂
@@robwestb02 Carr isn't bad it's just that he's never had an above average defense.

3. NFC North
4. AFC North
5. AFC South
6. AFC West
7. NFC East
8.AFC East

Casual Chaos yeah but like last year the 49ers didn’t have a top 15 qb in the nfl when they made there run it was the team and coaching
orangecrus H how was jimmy not top 15?
Yup. I agree
NFC West deserves a top three spot. You've got Russell Wilson who's a top three quarterback plus the offensive rookie of the year, plus two quarterbacks who just made the Super Bowl with their respective squads.

Random point but I remember getting annoyed at fantasy football rankings back in 2015 because the 49ers beat the vikings and somehow Adrian Peterson ranked ahead of Carlos Hyde when Hyde definitely had the dominant game in that round. Obviously AP has been a better running back for the most part but I felt like something was wrong with how the stats were measured up based purely on current form.
I can t wait for the nfl ranking ranking

Lol the fact that Pat is ripping on NFC West makes me lose faith in his football knowledge 😂
Using average Madden ratings, this isn't too far off. 1&2 are same, bump AFC West to 6th while moving 4, 5, 6 up a spot, then switch 7&8. Would look like this:
1. NFC South
2. NFC West
3. AFC North
4. NFC North
5. AFC South
6. AFC West
7. NFC East
8. AFC East
3:09😂😂
Well the NFC West does have 3 QBs that played in a SuperBowl,1 SuperBowl Champion, and the #1 Overall pick in the draft/Offensive rookie of the year
1. NFC South - Two GOATs and Matt Ryan is still a solid NFL starter, plus Bridgewater was undefeated last year. Fine with them staying at #1
2. NFC North - Rodgers is still top tier, Cousins can't win on national TV but is a double digit winner, Stafford is the most undervalued/under-appreciated NFL player in the 21st century, Foles is an SB MVP
3. AFC West - Mahomes propels them up, Drew Lock and Derek Carr have shown flashes of potentially being good to great players
4. NFC West - Russell Wilson propels this division over the AFC North by just a bit, Goff and Jimmy G are good starters and Kyler has a high ceiling
5. AFC North - Big Ben returning from injury at his age could be tough, Burrow is coming into a disaster franchise and Baker last year wasn't good... the MVP can't propel them into the top 4 for me
6. NFC East - Wentz doesn't get hurt and Philly beats Seattle last year, Dak isn't worth 40 mil but maybe 32. Other two are... well... not good I'd say, but...
7. AFC South - I'd take Watson over Wentz (slightly) and Dak... but I'd take Wentz and Dak over Rivers and Tannehill every day of the week and twice on sundays
8. AFC East - Darnold sees ghosts, Josh Allen tries to be Brandon Marshall (except in the playoffs), Fitz was at his best wearing the chain in Tampa and NE is so uncertain
*Matt ryan the future Hof...
I think it should be number 1. NFC South 2. AFC north 3. NFC North 4. NFC West 5. AFC South 6. NFC East 7. AFC West 8. AFC East
That is a far more reasonable list than what the NFL posted
Switch 3 and 5. Then switch 7 and 8.
That’s my list.
I'd also swap 4-6. But if Burrow lights it up and Mayfield flourishes, they could jump right back up. LJ should still be good but I don't think quite as good and not sure what Ben will be post surgery.
Josh McSwain I personally wouldn’t make that switch. Although if you like Philip Rivers and/or think he’s going to do good with the Colts than I could see that switch happening.
LMFAOOOOO COMING BACK HERE DURING WEEK 15 .. I DONT THINK THIS IS FAR OFF 🤣🤣
AFC N , NFC S , NFC W , AFC W , NFC N , AFC E , AFC S , NFC E .

NFC north is first. I took all 32 starting qbs(used fitzmagic and foles) listed them from 1 to 32 from who i would choose to lead my team for 1 year. And counted up their positions and whichever had the least "points" had the overall better qbs. Nfcnorth 37, then nfc south 41, nfcwest 56, afcwest 71, afcnorth 74, afc south 74, nfc east 77, and afc east 98. Jarrett stidham was 32 while Patrick Mahomes 1.

As a Bucs fan, this hype scares the hell outta me. I’m grateful for a two year deal on Brady. But open to any ideas what we are supposed to do after Brady.
Means we must be gunning for our franchise QB next draft, sit the first year under Brady. We have a few players and picks to move too. But Im welcome to any smarter people to tell me what they think on this. I’m a bit of a vitamin user.

I want this same list, but ranked by contract amounts
I live in Charlotte and I found out from this video that the Panthers had Teddy Bridgewater...
Today I learned it's Jarrett Stidham and not Jared Stidham. Tomorrow I can go back to forgetting.
AFC West definitely fair at that rank maybe 4 but 3 is okay. Denver and Las Vegas are decent for sure. Chargers, are rebuilding, and KC is expected to be top 5 so, good on that.
NFC North TOO HIGH??? *A Rod (rhetorical) *big brain matt stafford (quickest qb in history to 40K yards) *captain kirk (2019 qb rating of 107.4)
They said they’d put the NFC North at 3
Now that makes much more sense
NFC South & West both have 3 QBs that have made it to the superbowl. Theres only another 4 QBs in the rest of the divisions combined. Foles, Rodgers, Rothesberger & Maholmes. Seems accurate to me.
"AFC East shouldn't be that high" 😂

What a time to be a football fan.
Time to rank the NFL years by overall QB caliber
The ain't pissing off no cowboys fans cause this helps the case that Dak ain't worth 35-40m
So you’re saying teams, players and agents look at a list like this and think “well that proves it, he’s not worth it”.... no. This is just a random NFL writers opinion, it changes nothing in negotiations lol
Let’s get this straight boys, the CORRECT order:
NFC SOUTH, AFC NORTH, NFC NORTH, AFC WEST, AFC SOUTH, NFC WEST, NFC EAST, AFC EAST
Admittedly some in the middle can be argued but the book ends are just so goddamn obvious
Dude.. why’d you put nfc west so low?
NFC west could be first imo (based on skill and potential).. If Tom and Drew weren’t such established legends of the game.
Why don’t they take qb qbr percentages add them per division and divide by four
Me as a Vikings fan we made it pretty high
Smoking all the vitamins they are
McAfee "AFC East should be lower"
AFC East number 7
he's not wrong they should be 8th
NFC South, NFC North, NFC West, AFC North, AFC South, AFC West, NFC East, AFC East... (6 and 7 could be switched)
NFC West I feel is pretty accurate, Murray down the stretch was doing a lot a better, the Rams/Goff were in the Super Bowl two years ago, Garoppolo was in the Super Bowl last year, and Wilson was a MVP candidate. NFC North should be swapped with AFC West. But besides that I feel like it’s pretty good
Seems to me like QBs are just better in general these day then in past years.
1. NFC South (1st on their list)
2. AFC North (4th)
3. NFC North (5th)
4. AFC South (6th)
5. NFC West (2nd)
6. AFC West (3rd)
7. NFC East (8th)
8. AFC East (7th)
Did anyone notice the outro change? From alternating to completely seperate
You do a list pat
I dont mind 1 and 2. I mean, Garoppolo you can question his skill, but he DID just play in a SB, Wilson is undeniable, and Goff played in a SB year before. All in all three SB QBs, I think 2 stays put.
I think 3 and 4 need to swap, 3 has 1 QB, 4 has 2.
7 and 8 need to swap, AFC east has potential, but it's mostly unrealized potential. Dak and Wentz are proven to certainly be better than anyone in the AFC east.
I agree with 1 & 2. No one disputes number 1. 2 is right where it belongs because three of the four qbs have went to the Super Bowl and rus has been to 2 won 1.
1. NFC south
2. NFC north
3. NFC west
4. AFC north
5. NFC east
6. AFC west
7. AFC south
8. AFC east
1. NFC South
2. NFC North
3. NFC West
4. AFC South
5. AFC North
6. NFC East
7. AFC West
8. AFC East
Best QB in each division:
NFC South: Tom Brady
NFC West: Russell Wilson
NFC North: Aaron Rodgers
NFC East: Dak Prescott
AFC South: Deshaun Watson
AFC West: Patrick Mahomes
AFC North: Lamar Jackson
AFC East: Idk maybe Tua or Stidham?
These are actually pretty accurate when you think about it, I would just switch 7 and 8. Besides that I agree. Jimmy G, Russ, and Goff all have SB appearances so 2 is justified. AFC West at 3 is justified bc Mahomes is Mahomes. These rankings are close at least.
Look at what they did combined all stats for QB’s goes by the highest average...
Pat was trolling saying cam might be the starter for NE. No way in hell
COLLINGWOOD WTFFF

To be fair, 3 of the QBs in the NFC west have gone to a superbowl in the last 5 years.
The only reason the NFC west is justified at #2 is Russell Wilson. Kyler Murray will probably step up his game and give that ranking more justification, but Goff is already slowing down, and Jimmy G is gonna slump this year. Realistically they should be at 3, maybe even 4 overall
How Goff slowing down? He still has lots of weapons and the rams o-line was mostly injured. Outside of Whitworth everyone was a rookie or 2nd year. And jimmy G isn’t gonna slump they have a new lineman and receiver and they still have lots of weapons on that offense. How you gonna put Murray over Goff and jimmy when they were in the previous 2 SB??? Lmao NFC west is totally top 2
The only team to not have a bad case of SB hangover in the past decade is the Patriots. Odds are the 49ers aren't gonna do so hot this next year, and the Rams are still trying to recuperate from their hangover. It remains to be seen whether they pull themselves out of it. Kyler Murray has a lot of momentum going into his second year as of now. But of course he could also have a sophomore slump too, but I think it's more likely that he builds off of his promising first year and gets better. On paper, yes, right now they are #2, but I dont think it'll be that way when this season starts
Yung_Grunch Fax it seems like people act like the Rams have a terrible year we were two plays away from going 11-5 and we did not have a healthy o line the whole year
My opinion:
1)NFC South
2)NFC West
3)AFC North
4)NFC North
5)AFC West
6)NFC East
7)AFC South
8)AFC East
No matter how much Mahomes you put, he still can't make for the rest of the division. Also, I would pick Stafford or Cousins over Carr or Taylor any given day.
NFC East's being last is baffling at least, mostly when AFC East best QB is either a journeyman or a fullback dressed as QB.
Yeah but same came in and smacked dak in the face. Oh and josh Allen too. Lmao. The whole afc east smacked the nfc east around last year. The nfc East deserves 9th place
NFC North 5th?!?!?! LMAO!!! Good one.
Russell Wilson is below Murray and Garappolo?😂
