I’m a pats fan, I honestly feel like Brady was just not in it last year. I think not having TEs was a big whole in their offense which they addressed in the draft. Thuney had is heart condition we missed a lot last year who’s fully recovered now, he had Sanu who came in late in the season not knowing our system, and eventually got hurt and played through his injury. Our first round pick Harry had injuries coming into the season, Brady rarely threw to him. There were definitely some problems all around health wise for the team, but I feel watching most games Brady had players be wide open and throw dumb passes, he’d play typical Brady style plays and a lot of the time he just gave up on plays. Our offense was so predictable it was just bad all around. Hopefully this season they’ll have a healthy team, they’ll be playing a better unpredictable style offense, and still have a monster Defense. In the long run If Cam doesn’t work out it’s not the end of the world, but this man looks ready to go and prove everyone wrong, and have a monster season. If he only stays for a year, at least Stidham will have learned from 2 great qbs, and will have another year to keep improving and preparing himself if his number gets called. Go Pats!

As a Patriots fan, I love Pat McAfee. He gives the Patriots the ultimate respect while at the same time making his hatred of them transparent. And for that, he has my respect. I don't mind that he hates my team. I love that he is so honest about it while also not resorting to minimizing their accomplishments

Hype and drama aside, I think Cam Newton is gonna surprise a lot of people. He may not have played at the same 2015 MVP level since that Super Bowl loss, but he has slowly improved his QBing craft each year overlooking the physical limitations. In 2018, he was setting personal records for completion percentage before that team collapsed mid-season and in 2019 he wasn't 100% in those two games he started. If he's back to that early 2018 form and adjusted his game even a little bit, he's back to being a franchise QB. Not to mention he's gonna have a Top 10 defense on his side, too.

Lots of big "ifs" with Cam, whom I like. His accuracy, his ability to stay healthy and if Edelman, Sunu and the other receivers who have talent can step up. Still like KC to repeat against NOLA for SB in 2021. IF...there is a full season, which is question mark.

They had talent that far surpassed any other team in the league, and it wasnt even close. I love soccer, but a dynasty in American sports is way harder to pull off than in Europe. No Salary cap in Europe makes it was easier to get better when you are successful. In american sports, the better you do, the harder it becomes to get better. You have to start paying guys more and your draft picks get worse. What United did with Fergie was incredible. More impressive than what Bayern did in the league they basically own. Barca was also incredible but I give the edge to United.
