      19bayarea91 yea because the balls are juiced numb nuts. Look at bonds, McGuire, Sosa, then look at the bodies of modern hitters. Dudes like javy Baez can swing one handed in the dirt and drill it 450 to dead center. It’s clearly an attempt to increase home runs by new balls

      How does everyone have the option to do it? College players looking to get into the MLB can't afford steroids. You are giving an unfair advantage for all current players to retain their positions and new talent will be unable to compete

    The answer is always no, how would draft picks be able to compete coming out of highschool/college against juiced pros. Simple, they start taking steroids. How do highschool players get on to college teams or get scouted? Taking steroids. If one person is allowed to take steroids then EVERYONE will take steroids to be on an even playing field

  • @alexyeet4593
    @alexyeet4593 3 년 전

    People don’t want to hear this but every single pro athlete is on some sort of performance enhancer. It’s just not possible to be competitive in sports like football/baseball with how little rest they get. I’m not saying guys are juiced beyond belief like they were in the early 2000’s MLB. They’re not all on steroids per say, but I’d bet my house they all take something.

    For men, testosterone literally improves everything. Yes, makes you stronger but it helps with recovery time, immune system, bone density, mental wellness and clarity... It's incredibly beneficial for males. Just like everything else, when it is abused it can be destructive but if you allowed it under medical supervision and you could have healthier players and overall better product.

  • @TheRustedShackleford

    My friends and I have joked about this for years. Even if it has to be two separate leagues, they should do it. Baseball has never been as hot as it was during the roids era

    All major sports athletes should be allowed to take whatever they want under doctor’s observation. Especially the NFL, football players should have access to exogenous testosterone at a minimum

  • @truecountryside2326

    When it comes down to it yes a couple of these guys got to hit a few extra home runs because they were Using performing enhancing Drugs but the reality of it is that there is no drug on the market that gives you an eye for the ball. Either You are a pure hitter or you're not... Again don't get me wrong they did get to knock a few extra over the wall because of the added strength but in the grand scheme of things these guys were still the greatest hitters in the game

    • @markarren7480
      @markarren7480 3 년 전

      The added muscles make your swing faster, meaning you can hit that one ball you otherwise might've just missed. There are many more advantages, some only minor, to using steroids. If it didn't, nobody would be using it.

    • @truecountryside2326
      @truecountryside2326 3 년 전

      I understand what you're saying but if you notice only about 10% of all ball players Bat over 300.... And that's because I have a natural eye for the balls yes taking performance enhancing drugs does help but it doesn't make you a better hitter it just means the ones you do hit gonna go a little bit farther

    If you let players juice then you’ll be creating another level of competition that would make non-juicers less competitive, thus making giving every player an incentive to juice. This is wrong as juicing can have major health consequences and players shouldn’t feel like they have to just to keep up.
