Regarding the new proposed kickoff....Instead of implementing a complicated set of kickoff rules, they should just change the configuration/formation of the current kickoff to be more like a long field goal/punt, where the offense and defense are at the line of scrimmage, the ball is snapped, held, kicked like a field goal try, except it's kicked to a return man, and covered like a punt. This would eliminate the high speed collisions in the kickoff but not make it look like an XFL game. This would also create a set if very interesting onside kick options, where the ball is pooched and the offense has more of a chance of recovery.

I have been too busy to watch every day so if you have touched on this already I apologize, if not it would be awesome if you guys did a little segment on the return of The Arena Football League. It’s going to be huge, there’s a few past and present NFL guys involved, including with the team I work for The Oregon Blackbears who are owned by Kayvon Thibodeaux. Another notable NFL Legend involved is Jeff Fisher (Football Operations) over with The Nashville Kats. We got a lot of huge games coming up this Spring on NFL Network and NFL+. We are bringing back the AFL bigger than ever, with fast pace, gritty spring football played in between hockey boards! It’s going to be great for the leagues above and below us, Even the NAL and other Arena Leagues are stepping it up knowing we are Scouting on KRplus and in the arenas. Our team has some awesome Arena and GFL vets, but we have also brought in a lot of new talent including Jordan Pouncey and Rayshad Lewis. I can get you in contact with any coach or player on the team if you would like to interview anyone.
